‘ASYLUM seekers on Christmas Island will have to wait to be transferred to mainland Australia, after typhoid fever was detected on the island.
The Immigration Department has confirmed that two crew members on separate asylum boats have been diagnosed with typhoid, The Australian reports…’
Yummy..illegal immigrant with a side-order of typhoid …should go well with the drug-resistant TB. And – as always – the Australian taxpayer is picking up the tab.

    It’s funny how with this federal government the policy seems to be – when all else fails, transfer to the mainland. Too many, send to mainland. Disease, send to mainland. Hunger strike, send to mainland. It’s like they have a hidden agenda.

      It ain’t hidden, RWT. It’s Prime Minister Bob Brown’s immigration policy, and has been adopted by junior governing partner the Labor Party.
