Wabbit smells a set-up:

Remember the female Charlotte Dawson, who was admitted to hospital supposedly because she’d been bullied by trolls online?
‘….Hospitalised star Charlotte Dawson reportedly showed up for a 60 Minutes interview just hours after being admitted to hospital following a Twitter spat with online bullies…’
and:
‘…Influential social media consultant Laurel Papworth said Dawson broke the cardinal rule of the internet: Don’t feed the trolls.
….”Charlotte is obviously a very vulnerable person who has bullied people by calling them ‘slags’ and ‘whores’ and whatever else and now she’s been bullied herself.”
‘…The incident has led the national crisis support service Lifeline to question the diligence of social media in monitoring cyber-bullying, while others have called for reforms to be stepped up.
Australia’s federal government has already been consulting extensively on whether tougher laws for online abuse are needed, but attention to the subject has increased dramatically over the past 24 hours...’         source
I rest my case. It’s a simple case of the biter bit but the ensuing “reporting”  is the media pushing an agenda. Funny, that…the more legacy media tanks, the more they attack the alternatives and call for more controls.  Politicians are happy to impose more controls – and to accept help from the media in their campaign for them – because they too, hate the idea of their subjects enjoying free speech.

She needs to take a concrete pill and harden the fuck up!

  2. Rob Ripley says:

What’s so hard about turning off the computer?

The silly bitch could try walking across the road and talking to her neighbours, if she has any.

    Speaking of hardening up:

FFS! So the standard for free speech is now ONE person offended and the possibility that children might be fwightened….

Ha! I was up in Auckland just over a year ago and took photo’s of two bus-stop signs. Caricatures, one Saddam Hussein, the other Kim Jong Il. I thought they were funny, so captured them before they offended anyone.

Yep, any new regulation, control or lefty liberal lameness and it’s “always for the chooooldrin”

  4. Flashman says:

Dawson is a fast-fading 1990’s C-lister, now with enough botox in her to paralyse a bull elephant. She’s famous only for being known.

This story is nothing but a dog-eared and desperate media stunt.

The next round will be Wymmin’s Weakly picture feature: “Our Charlotte Finds True Love and Recovery” – the purchasing of which is a Tax on Stupidity.

Have they not heard of the precedent:

    Sticks and Stones

  6. Jay says:

An idiot who thought they could get away talking shit about people and not receiving any back in return. She got what she deserved.

  7. WAKE UP says:

Dawson was good-looking once, but it was only ever skin-deep. Now she just looks desperate. If I could be bothered, I’d feel sorry for her.
