A priceless birthright, squandered and betrayed.

‘For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind..’ Hosea 8:7
I hope a lot of people are about to learn a bitter lesson–liberties pissed away can’t be regained except at terrible cost. But perhaps very many of them never have and never will value liberty enough to care, and their chains will feel natural enough.

  1. Oswald Bastable says:

America- you now REALLY in a world of shit. As are we all… :vomit

  2. Elijah says:

You cannot fight the cycles of history. The more I read and the more I live through it, it becomes hard to deny that Polybius was right.

  3. mawm says:

“He who rides the tiger can never get off” – and that is the problem. There will be more and more spending, greater debt………..and devaluation of the dollar and inflation. As Os said, they are up to their eyeballs in shit.

  4. mawm says:

What does Obama’s second term mean for the US?

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/11/obamas_second_term.html

    • KG says:

There’s not a damn thing in there to disagree with, Mawm.
Americans (those who still value freedom, that is) need to start thinking of ways to resist, gum up the works, reduce their contribution to the great Utopian project.

      • Darin says:

Luckily everything I have is paid for,so I don’t need much.As of Jan 2013 I will only have one bank account with very little in it and since I am technically self employed I will only be accepting cash none of which will be reported to the feds.State and city taxes I will pay, they rest can go to hell.

This election was decided by Blacks and single mothers (welfare whores) I’m done paying their bills.

  5. They have chosen servitude, now they must serve.

Exactly right KG, those who produce must now find ways to hold on to what they have made or make less of it, let the parasites fend for themselves and look to obama for their next meal.

If they’re not starved to their senses, we’ll all starve.

  6. George says:

I do not need a conservative president to give my life meaning, any more than a great number of the American people. Obama’s re-election is just a symptom of what has been wrong for a very long time. It is a spiritual contest. The neo-pagan versus Almighty God. And the sucker that bets on the pagan to win that one is devoid of sense.
Man has been given no more hope than the Roman Empire was given. They chose themselves in their own arrogance. I would rather be part of a remnant that followed Christ. “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh” God isn’t afraid or confused or depressed about the opposition of a politcal machine.

Read Psalm 2 and get happy.

    • Katie says:

In the end, G-d wins. Always wins!

      • KG says:

Horsecrap. In my lifetime I’ve seen too many good people lose their battles.
Evil in our lifetime has to be fought, by us, not left to a third party. Another name for that is cowardice.

  7. KG says:

Just fine and dandy if you’re a believer, George.
Meanwhile, poor hardworking bastards will have the fruits of their labour stolen from them, will be forced to deny their own kids things they’ve worked to give them, have to stand by and see their own kids effectively sold into slavery while their parents become little more than milch cows for a rotten welfare-addicted class of feckless morons who have the “right” to vote themselves more of other people’s money, hours of labour and future security.
Don’t fucking preach to me and tell me to “get happy”. Get stuffed. Stand by and happy clap and sing your hymns all you like, but very many of us refuse to take the Kool-Aid.

  8. KG says:

Anybody who isn’t angry and profoundly disgusted by the outcome today is part of the problem.

    • Katie says:

      Not angry, not upset. Was last night. Today I remember this;

This nation is 236 years old. We have survived 2 wars with Great Britain, 1 Civil War, 1 War with the Indians, 1 War with Mexico, 1 War with Spain, 2 World Wars, 1 War with Korea, 1 War in Vietnam, 2 Wars in the Gulf, a multitudes of depressions, recessions, economic bubbles, 9/11, multiple scandals, and bad Presidents.

      WE WILL SURVIVE OBAMA TOO!!!!

This nation will survive. We still have the House. We control the purse strings, if we can get a leader with some balls.

      • Flashman says:

So might a patriotic Roman have said in 410AD of a 800 year history on the walls of the Eternal City with a view of the Goths’ evening campfires.

America is utterly screwed. Welfare parasites can vote themselves as many bennies as they want, but ultimately it’s paid for by Other Peoples’ Money. In this case, the roots of the money tree are in Red China. And when The Sons of Heaven one day decide to turn off the credit tap [or run out of tin because of their own internal problems]; why you have 1929 all over again – except on a cosmic scale.

Back to Rome. The fact is that America is too large, too complex and too polarised to be governed by one man and the current Federal system. Back in the day, Diocletian recognised this of the Roman Empire and divided it up into three smaller, more manageable pieces. The low-paying sub-economic bits could be lost, but the most wealthy part in the East lived on for over 1,000 years. The lesson is thus right there for America.

      • mawm says:

Katie, you will survive, but the Ameriuca you once knew will never be again. The shift leftwards has been as continuous as it is relentless, and there is no going back. As Romney said there is 47% who will never vote their snouts out of the trough….. and all the Dems/Socialists need to do is ensure that more than 50% of the voting public are in some way dependent on them. Campaigning on undoing that is a death sentence.

Finally the country will resemble the USSR and their will not be enough money to feed the pigs. When the federation breaks down, crime and corruption will become the new way.

        • The Gantt Guy says:

“The shift leftwards has been as continuous as it is relentless”

As it has been right across the western world. Look at New Zealand. 60 years ago we were reported to be in the top 5 countries in the world for both incomes and standards of living. Beginning with Holland’s exit from the Prime Ministership, New Zealand has slid inexorably leftwards and downwards, to the point where we are now the Cuba of the South Pacific and will shortly fall completely out of the First World.

    • George says:

KG, thanks for the good wishes. I was disgusted when they elected him the first time. I was angry when they put McCain up against him. I was very angry when Palin was treated worse than a dog. I was nauseous when the GOP carried on as usual with the same drones playing both ends against the middle. There has been no change because society hasn’t changed. Therein lies the problem. In the last 24 hours some waypoints have been reached. Israel’s countdown with the Iranian maniacs will have begun, Putin will be confident he can get away with anything, the Chinese will rock up to the front door on Japanese islands with new beligerence….and so on and so on. All because a majority of Americans do not have the self respect to elect a man with principles.
I am married to an American, my business is largely with Americans. I expect it to decrease now. Two of my family of friends there have made radical decisions last night; one not to retire or expect the wife’s state pension to even exist as the state is teetering broke; the other to cancel their kids $40k per annum good college plans in favour of a local university and the subsequent uphill employment battle afterwards.
It’s a mess, but not big enough of mess yet to get society to realise it needs God more than it needs the KoolAid of secular “isms”.

I am confident that will happen in the US. I don’t share that confidence about this country and I’m a 5th generation NZ’er.

      • KG says:

“It’s a mess, but not big enough of mess yet to get society to realise it needs God more than it needs the KoolAid of secular “isms”.”
        Can’t argue with that, George.
And I’m reminded of “God helps those who help themselves”, which is why so much Christian passivity in the face of real evil irritates the hell out of me.

  9. Oswald Bastable says:

    Well said Katie!

    • KG says:

I don’t agree at all, Oswald. This situation is too utterly different, the timelines too compressed and America too fragmented and different to those days for the comparison to hold.
9/11 was in the main mere physical damage and sorrow for the victims. Nov 2012 is evidence of a deep malaise that won’t be so simply fixed.

    • KG says:

      • Katie says:

        Remember this:

Obama is a Lame Duck. He either moves to the center or gets nothing. Everyone in the Democratic Party is now scrambling to be the next nominee. The House is in GOP hands. (Thus they control the purse strings.) and we are not yet destroyed. We will survive this too.

        • KG says:

Sounds lovely, Katie. Except that it ignores a whole host of crucial factors which spell poison for the Republic.
The time for that kind of short-term thinking is over–go read Melanie Phillips, she “gets” it. (The update and link at the top post)
The Muslim Brotherhood infiltrating government at all levels, a disastrous foreign policy which places America in great danger, lawyers micro-managing the military, a very dangerous immigration policy…the list is all but endless, before we even get to the economic disaster that Obama is. And you concentrate on that which probably matter least, Katie.

        • The Gantt Guy says:

Katie, that might hold if we didn’t have the evidence of the past 4 years. He might be a lame duck, but if you believe the House controls the purse-strings, you still live in 2006! Hairy Red and the Senate have conspired with this Administration to steal the purse, strings and all, from the House. With their continuing resolutions, ruling by executive fiat and their intransigence over both the budget and the deficit, the Democrats have effectively subverted the Three Branches to their own ends.

          • KG says:

            Exactly.
(and please leave any replies to Gantt under this comment, to preserve the sense of the thread. Thank you.)

            • Andrew Berwick says:

Well gant turned out to be right, didn’t he.

Who will rid us of this turbulent president?

  10. The “Black Regiment” (Pastors who signed the Declaration in 1776) believed that God was in control and also believed that GOD gave us control here on earth- NO WHIMPS THEY!!
We in the US have lost the HIStory of this great Republic–

    “Occupy til I come.” Lk 19- Christ’s (thus God’s ) COMMAND to us–all Christians-

As to cash only–I’m looking into it!!
    C-CS

    • Andrew Berwick says:

God’s command to Christians in America?

The same as it ever was, faced with nameless paganism:

15:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

That was the judgement of GOD then; it is the judgement of GOD on liberalism now.

  11. mistress mara says:

When obama , :vomit , said post-election “The best is yet to come” I recognised this as a bald-faced, bare- naked threat and shuddered . If I were religious, I’d have to agree with KG who says God helps those who help themselves. A certain public hanging would be immensely cheering right now.
