    Something for Darin. (although I suspect it’s not news to him):
    Thermite

    Thermite can be made by mixing 8 parts iron oxide (rust) to 3 parts aluminum powder. That’s 8 to 3 by weight, not volume. Because aluminum is lighter than the iron oxide it will look like about a 50/50 mix.
    If you want moldable thermite (you’re cutting something that’s upright, like an old safe that you forgot the combination to) mix 4 parts thermite to one part clay. Knead it thoroughly.
    Okay, you’ve got your compounds mixed, you’ve made your measurements and laid out your mixture in the desired area and it’s time to light ‘er off. It takes a lot of heat to ignite thermite – your handy Zippo ain’t gonna do the trick. Take a sparkler, stick that sucker in there and light it. You can also use a magnesium ribbon to fire it. Magnesium ribbon can be lit with a lighter.

    The “thermite” device we use to weld ground rods with (called Cadweld) has a little initiator in it.

    Neat stuff!

      Yes,Thermite,used to work with in in gallon cans for welding heavy concrete reinforcing.Neat system,we would line up the ends of #18 rebar(1-7/8″dia)clamp on a special ceramic flask on both haves and stuff puddy into the gaps around the rebar ribs.Light it off and a few minutes later a softball sized glob of super heated steel would drop down into the flask and join the bar in one shot.Excellent stuff.

      An interesting video,you’ll know what the end result is for ;-)

    Quite a good read on how the election was lost to the communist fag Kenyan-

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/12436#.UOVK3PXjbyI

    “Romney lost because the conservative virtues – the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness – no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate.

    The simplest reason why Romney lost was because it is impossible to compete against free stuff. Every businessman knows this; that is why the “loss leader” or the giveaway is such a powerful marketing tool. Obama’s America is one in which free stuff is given away: the adults among the 47,000,000 on food stamps clearly recognized for whom they should vote, and so they did, by the tens of millions;

    That engenders the second reason why Romney lost: the inescapable conclusion that the electorate is dumb – ignorant, and uninformed. Indeed, it does not pay to be an informed voter, because most other voters – the clear majority – are unintelligent and easily swayed by emotion and raw populism. “

    • Ronbo says:

      ….and the third reason Romney lost – and perhaps the main one – at least several million votes came from dead Democrats.

    Another good article from a guy I have been reading all my life (Robert Ringer)

    Called “Next Up The Tyranny Cliff”, its about the cliff that is coming not long after reality forces the commies to stop lying about the state of the economy.

    Tyranny Cliff

    Obese people could face cuts to their benefits if they do not attend exercise sessions, under new plans being outlined by a local council.
    The document, written with the think-tank the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU), states: “Where an exercise package is prescribed to a resident, housing and council tax benefit payments could be varied to reward or incentivise residents.”

  5. KG says:

    The hard fact is that liberty is lost. Enough people are now completely uninformed, indifferent to what the word liberty means, in thrall to government handouts and dependent on government for housing, jobs, medical care–you name it–that liberty is a dead concept.
    Not merely that, but they think (those few who bother to think) that what they have now is liberty. The bars of their cell are for their own safety, the restrictions on their lives no more than reasonable instructions.
    We’re fucked–wolves and falcons living among a mass of lapdogs and battery hens. And our day is past.

      @KG:

      I agree.

      About all liberty lovers can do at this point is pick the hill they will die on.

      We are kind of like those ancient Roman Senators who assassinated Caesar in 44 B.C. and started a hopeless civil war against Augustus and Mark Antony.

      Interesting how history repeats itself endlessly…

    Daniel Greenfield:
    “..We are approaching the point where the shadow government of bureaucracies, agencies, ngo’s and lobbies is preparing to openly squash the old system of popular representation, and step into its place. They have been trying to do this for some time now, but this fourth revolution of theirs is the biggest and riskiest step to date. It is a step over the abyss. They are slowly leaving behind constituencies and relying on the chaos of multicultural societies and economic downturns to make the transition more palatable. .”
