‘Comments on Muslims by New Zealand First MP Richard Prosser have sparked online outrage and have been slammed as racist by a Muslim leader.
The “muslim leader” needs to get an education–an ideology is not a race.
In a column for Investigate Magazine, the Waimakariri list MP suggested young Muslims shouldn’t be allowed to travel on Western airlines because ‘most terrorists are Muslims”.
He accepted that most Muslims are not terrorists, but it’s “equally undeniable” that “most terrorists are Muslims”.
The simple truth. But one that now must not be spoken, especially in socialist countries.
……Labour Leader David Shearer said he found Mr Prosser’s comments “offensive” and said they could hurt New Zealand’s reputation in other countries.
“If those sorts of comments were made in the Middle East it could incite violence we don’t want that here…”
Kind of made the guy’s point for him didn’t you, Shearer? Free speech can get you killed–by muslims.
….Mana Party leader Hone Harawira said Mr Prosser’s comments were racist, and without basis in fact.
“It’s kinda like saying that no 19- to 35-year-old white guys should be allowed to go anywhere because they cause so many wars around the world.”
If they caused one tenth of the deaths muslims do, you might have a point, Harawira–you racist pig.
….In his article, Mr Prosser also said: “I will not stand by while [his daughters’] rights and freedoms of other New Zealanders and Westerners, are denigrated by a sorry pack of misogynist troglodytes from Wogistan.” The 9/11 hijackers were Muslims, as were the London “tube bombers”, Mr Prosser said, along with the Taleban and al-Qaida. “There is a pattern here, I promise you,” he wrote. “These are angry, young Muslim men who hate the West and want to destroy it. “They attack us, and our institutions and infrastructures, and our way of life, and our values and beliefs and precepts, because we are not like them, and for no other reason.”
Nothing in that quote is untrue. Nothing.

And the terrorists aren’t Arab Christians either. Moreover, when we look at virtually all the trouble spots in the world and there is one group glaringly always involved. And it’s not a racial group but an ideological group. Yes, a definite pattern. I always looked forward to reading Prosser’s columns. There was a Mark Steyn column just before or after too.
Prosser’s book has been on the wish-list for some time. A couple more like him (hoping John Ansell or someone more charismatic [purely for selling reality]) and N.Z could almost be livable again.
I bet in the herald tomorrow Lincoln tan does a piece on prosser and gets an opinion from Paul Spoonley!!

I agree with dondiego, Grappler, and it seems you too–a lot more Prossers would do NZ the world of good.
Prosser is absolutley right and what the Muslim world needs to remember is that there is a core group of western defenders that will have no problem reducing the Muslim world to ashes if they decide to push the issue.

OK, I have a very limited time for blogs at the moment (damn you, work!) and this is by far the funniest thing I’ve picked up so far.
First, although Prosser is a bit of a buffoon, and although comments like “misogynist troglodytes from Wogistan” don’t help the cause (no matter how technically accurate they might be), there is nothing – nothing – in what Prosser wrote that is not absolutely correct. Moslems have perpetrated or planned every.single.terrorist.attack on the West in living memory. They have rendered large parts of England and France uninhabitable. They are working hard to do the same to the US and Australia. We have enough problems in NZ with grievance-mongering apartheid-peddlers without inviting even more of the acolytes of the paedophile prophet to come for dinner!
The apology is simply cowardice in the face of enemy fire, and a desperate attempt to stop the left’s artillery. He has clearly fallen for the “what about the moderate moslems” trap, and been told by Winston to “make it right”. He would have earned far more of my respect if he’d said “fuck off all of you. You might not like the way I said it, but everything I said was absolutely correct. Show me which of my facts was wrong and I’ll apologise for it.” As it stands, he looks like just another piggie trying hard to keep his snout in the trough.
On Farrar: KG, with all due respect I disagree with your calling him a pseudo-conservative. He is, in fact, a modern Progressive. He is socially progressive, and fiscally progressive. Just because he is slightly less so than, say, Wayne Swann, doesn’t change the fact that he is, by any measurable factor, far and away to the left of centre on every single important issue. You’re closer to correct when you say he’s a spokesman for the “middle ground” – an exponent of Tony Blair’s “third way”, if you like. On “moderate” moslems: There is a moslem woman at my place of work. She is the epitome of what the LSM would term a “moderate” moslem. Not a headscarf in sight. Her husband is well and truly under the thumb. Her mosque is less place of worship than bordello. The President’s wife is having it away with any number of parishioners. The Arab Studies teacher is also engaging in a number of extra-marital relations. Outside of the mosque, this woman at my work has her eye on one of the C-level executives. Now, in a moslem country all of the women involved would be rounded up and stoned to death. But that isn’t my point. Even these so-called “moderates” give a minimum of 2.5% of their gross annual income to the mosque to “help the poor and needy”. I’ve quizzed this woman at length about where the money actually goes. She has no idea. After it’s handed in at the mosque, she considers her duty done. I’ve urged her to make enquiries, to find out how much of it is funneled through Iran or Saudi to the various terrorist groups intent on destroying our Western way of life. But she won’t, of course, because she doesn’t want to know.
They are our enemy, and we are at war, whether we choose to recognise it or not.

It is hardly a surprise that media in NZ would concur with the idea that freedom of speech must be revised to restrict speech that is offensive to the most offensive people on earth… muslims.

Pete George is a fuckwit, as you well know. And as Andrei said, he will be apologising for the acolytes of the paedophile prophet right up until the knife starts slicing through his Adam’s Apple. If you can stomach it, check out the arguments on those KB posts. PG’s twisted logic is an absolute wonder to behold. A gold-medal-winning performance in mental gymnastics at the 2013 Wogistan Olympics! It seems that while he acknowledges moslems are causing trouble in England and France and, increasingly, Australia, they won’t cause trouble here because, well, we’re just so darned tolerant. Oh, and there aren’t enough of them to cause trouble.
As to Prosser, I’d still like to know what was factually incorrect about what he said. I agree his solution won’t, and can’t, work. We can’t be pulling aside all young men who look like moslems, or who come from moslem countries, for special treatment. After all, there are so many these days who look like caucasian, or Maori, or Indian New Zealanders. Let’s just recognise we are in a war and ban *all* moslem immigration, pull down all the mosques and proscribe the practice of i-Slam under anti-terrorism legislation?
