This is priceless-

From the link- “Bill Maher: “You went there by yourself, not an assistant?” Adam Schiff: “I had somebody drop me off at the store.” “That target bag is going to be my luggage for the next two days.” “She said in not so many words ‘Democrats are assholes” “I thought if the cashier in South San Francisco 10 o’clock at night believes Democrats are assholes because the shampoo is locked up, we’ve got a major problem we’ve got to address.” ‘Democrats are assholes’ because their stories to relate to the ‘common man’ involves a chauffeur.

  1. The incident happened two years ago and that asshat hasn’t changed a bit. So much for learning from it.

      • Well…’Most self-righteous, arrogant, hypocritical, elitist waste of space asshole’ would have taken much longer to type. https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

  2. Oooops!

“In the extraordinary mishap, the $70 million jet was being towed out of the hanger bay of the USS Harry S. Truman when the crew lost control.”The F/A-18E was actively under tow in the hangar bay when the move crew lost control of the aircraft. The aircraft and tow tractor were lost overboard,” the Navy wrote in a statement.

    • The ground troops will be the ones to pay the price. Definitely https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif

    • My thoughts exactly. So, a person caught in the act of committing a crime can’t be arrested without a warrant? How does this even make any sense? https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • Waiting for some District Judge to rule that all those arrested must be released in 3…2…1…

    • Yep, we have been screaming this for decades. We have a massive shortage of skilled trades in America. Everybody I know in my line of work is 50+ years old and many are 65 and retiring in droves with very few coming in to replace us.

I also noticed the stink of elitism still present in that article. Too many in academia and the media still treat tradesmen like ignorant leppers. In reality, you need good Math, Reading and comprehension skills to even begin. School admins had a bad habit of pushing all their D students into votech and shoving the cream of the crop into computer science and English lit courses.

A buddy of mine used to do this for a living, the level of ignorance from rank and file management on different jobs was astounding. There was one he was on, I was his helper welding a broken high pressure gas main in the middle of town. Active main, that was shut off, but still had miles of gas in the line and was on an old shutoff that didn’t seal 100%. So we had a flare setup to burn off the bypass while we were welding. Site manager walks up and starts talking shit about how much an hour we were getting paid. I asked him if he knew how to pull this off where it would pass X-ray and not vaporize half the town. He said no, so I told him in that case he should probably just STFU and write the damn check.https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

      • Good tradesmen have always had my high regard. The skill required to be really good at welding is above my pay grade.

  3. Try canoeing in hippo infested water where the banks are lined with Nile crocs. I had a few very uncomfortable trips with my brother, then a scientist studying hippo behaviour for his masters thesis. Nasty frightening beasts! Both of them.

      • They run along the bottom. Fortunately all their charges were mock ones. Freaking scary!

Among the other interactions were 1) sleeping in a tent and hearing them grazing right next door, 2) one bursting through some reeds when running from land back to the water and almost flattening us.

    • The most dangerous animal in Africa. With that bulk there’s not much that can stop them.

      • They kill more people than any other animal barring mosquitoes. The biggest problem is that despite their size one does not see them at night and one can easily bump into them.

  4. I’ve been checking the discussions about Biden’s announcement that he has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer with metastases to bone. There has been a common thread through the debates:

    1. He has had the cancer for years, probably more than 5 and likely as many as 10 years.
    2. There is no way his doctors missed it (barring gross malpractice).

    The unknowns include:

    1. He has ben having treatments, possibly hormone therapy which can have a side effect of reduced mental acuity.
    2. The timing is designed to engender sympathy following the release of the Hur tape.
    3. The release is to forestall negative reporting on Biden’s character and criticism of his presidency.
    4. The treatments may hav occurred during all those vacations and weekends in Delaware.

My belief is that Biden and/or his inner-most circle (Jill being the most guilty) hid this from as many people as possible. Biden and/or his handlers delayed or decided against surgery (or at least more aggressive treatment) for political reasons.

I do not wish hime to suffer, however, I refuse to allow his present condition to affect my opinion of him as a horrific president and corrupt and venal man.

    • Crap, I thought I’d deleted the first six words of this. https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

          • I figure he has known since 2014 and that was one of several reasons why he didn’t run in 2016. He was never more than a puppet during his presidency and history will not be kind to him.
As far as his cancer, while I wouldn’t wish that death on anybody, his threats against the un-vaccinated and his draconian termination of anybody who refused the clot shot, makes not care that he shortly won’t be around any longer.

    • Who knows? We are told it’s metastatic prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. This is painful.

The questions I have are 1) did he have regular PSA and digital rectal examinations? 2) Did he present with a raised PSA or bone pain? 3) When? 4) What treatment has he been getting? Anti-androgen therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy therapy, radioactive medicines, radiotherapy? 5) For how long?

It all sounds too convenient and apart from his feebleness and dementia there are no other things notable – breast development, hair loss, acute pain, radiation burns. https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

He might have prostate cancer. It might be advanced but aggressive metastatic? Probably too convenient. I could be very wrong! https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

  5. I had my computer in for an operating system upgrade yesterday. Because of that, I watched the news on TV3 last night. I was interested on how the locals would cover the assassination of the jewish couple in DC. I was appalled at the bias. I never heard a thing about the perpetrator saying “Free, free Palestine” when taken into custody. The next segment was about Israeli soldiers firing on some diplomats visiting Gaza who had wandered off their assigned route while filming. No one was hit (which makes me think the soldiers fired only warning shots) but they then interviewed some young girl in Gaza emphasising the food shortage.

The third item was about the President of SZ visiting Trump in DC. The headline talked about how Trump ‘ambushed’ the guy when what Trump did was provide proof of the threat to white farmers when the SA President denied it was happening.

I turned it off and realised it is no wonder New Zealanders have such a skewed view of world affairs.

    • I was talking to a friend who haS been in the UK for the last couple months. He said it was like living in an alternate universe. The media and by extension the people could not have been more wrong about what was going on in the US.

He also said London and Birmingham are essentially the third world now and even though the people he worked with walked through it everyday, they were still being told everything is fine.https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif
