Can anybody tell me why the West should intervene in this cesspit?

      Exactly, that’s what we should be doing, arming both sides as the other gets stronger, the more they stay over in their toilet and kill each other, the fewer will be over here sucking off the tax payer and waking up one day to think – oh i don’t understand these americans/brits/aussies etc, maybe i’ll get it if i murder a couple hundred of them.

    Notice one thing. The Israelis are not helping either side. They will prevent the transfer of sophisticated weapons to Hezbollah, they have their Druze troops on the ground defending the Syrian Druze (And making allies among them.), and they keep the Syrians from attacking Israel (Golan Heights).

    But the West are Dhimmi idiots and will arm the Jihadist cause thinking it is the side of freedom.

      The Saudis are majority SUNNI Muslims.

      On the other hand, the opposition party are the SHIITES and a minority in Islam.

      The Shiites are supported by Iran.

    Of course. A hell of a lot of people (and very, very few in the MSM) simply don’t understand the sunni/shi’ite divide and how it drives politics and war.
