The gap

between reality and what our political and bureaucratic masters do and say:
‘It is precisely the intersection of Ebola and globalization that worries me. The only response to a virus this deadly is to quarantine it. Stop flights, suspend visas, and beef up customs and security. It can be done. If the FAA can cancel flights to Israel, why can’t it cancel flights to and from the West African countries whence the outbreak originated?
Simple: because doing so would violate the sacred principles by which our bourgeois liberal elite operate. To deny an individual entry to the United States over fears of contamination would offend our elite’s sense of humanitarian cosmopolitanism. For them, “singling out” nations or cultures from which threats to the public health or safety of the United States originate is illegitimate. It “stigmatizes” those nations or cultures, it “shames” them, it makes them feel unequal. It’s judgmental. It suggests that America prefers her already existing citizens to others….’

    *Excellent* article.
There has been a massive gap for many years – even decades – between what the elites tell us and what we *know* to be true. A good example – Cameron’s nonsense that Lee Rigby’s beheading “had nothing to do with Islam.”

Going OT for a moment – I found this article to be really interesting (and *great* for anyone (like myself) who is pro-gun) –

    Articles: Ebola in Perspective

In order to put Ebola in perspective, we must first understand what it is, and what it is not. Ebola is a virus, likely passed originally from bats to primates, including monkeys and humans. From the first identified outbreak in 1976 in the Congo, there have been several outbreaks with the current a…

I reckon that if the blimmin’ fools in central Africa didn’t eat “bushmeat” (from monkeys etc) then that would go a long way to stopping Ebola outbreaks.
I’m pretty sure that monkeys (and maybe bats too) are the main reservoirs of Ebola.

  3. Brown says:

The thing about a contagion is that it spreads by design. If Ebola is easily spreadable (which I’m not sure about) closing a border or two will only delay the inevitable. That delay may give more time to develop counter measures but I suspect you will not prevent it arriving eventually. Nature always wins.

    • tranquil says:

      “Nature always wins.”

Fair comment, but at least a country could *try* to give it some “competition” (as it were).
“Leaders” like Obutthead just *surrender*, leaving the doors wide open.

Cauterise the would. Ohio class should do it. Hard to get on a plane when there isn’t any runway. Harder to pass on Ebola when your cities are nothing but gently glowing glass…

This actually ties in Obama’s decision to gut the war on terror. He sees acting in accordance with egaltarian ideals as more important than the single most implicit job of an American president – to protect the American people. As long as he (and the rest of the left) can fall into deeply self-satisfied slumber, it doesn’t matter that the threat to Americans grows. And when the threat becomes real, it will then somehow become the fault of the right. People need to hang over this.

It would be nice if the alleged opposition party – The Republican Party – would actually start calling out the Regime on what amounts to serial acts of treason…but NO :!:

The time has come for a new kick butt revolutionary opposition party, like the UKIP, as the GOP is hopeless and cannot be reformed from within.

MEANWHILE ON THE SOUTHERN BORDER WITH MEXICO…

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a level three warning for US citizens to avoid traveling to West African countries experiencing an outbreak of Ebola.

Immigrants from West African countries have entered the US illegally, according to Chris Cabrera with the National Border Patrol Council.

“Not too long ago we did catch some people, I believe, from Liberia,” he said.

During the 2013 fiscal year, statistics from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security website show Border Patrol agents apprehended 112 immigrants from Guinea, 231 from Liberia and 145 immigrants from Sierra Leone, which are the three countries currently experiencing the most cases of Ebola.

“Our main concern like it’s always been is the health and safety of our agents,” Cabrera said.

He worries agents are not properly protected in the event they come across an immigrant with the Ebola virus.

Seeing that they’ve been coming through Mexico, that means that Mexico could be the next nation to exhibit signs of Ebola even before the U.S.

However, because Mexican officials seem not to be exhibiting the same love of death for their country as Obola, I’d bet that their inboard screening process is far superior to that at our international airports. That bet is supported from noting which country’s crooks have been displaying the most sane policies for their own country. Doncha notice that too?

      • Darin says:

They will simply close their airspace and ports to inbound traffic. You’ll be able to leave, but not come back, same as we should be doing.

What these idiots don’t realize is once Ebola has a foothold in our environment here it will be here permanently.everytime the weather warms up we will have new outbreaks and new clusters just like we already do with West Nile, except West Nile doesn’t have a 40-50% mortality rate.

That small Pharmaceutical company that has the only vaccine for it no longer has any on the shelf. You can bet that there is now a supply in the hardened bunker under the WH.

Odumbass has his supply secured, lives over top of a CNB bunker and has nothing to worry about unlike the rest of us

        • Pascal says:

In that case, pray for an eleventh plague. Here’s an example.

He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success,
He takes the wise in their own craftiness; and the schemes of the wily are brought to a quick end. — Job 5:12-13

As the ebola plague spreads it metamorphoses into a less fatal disease to those who have not had the vaccine, but which is totally deadly to those who had the vaccine.

That is the sort of prayer that Natural Law might easily fulfill. A little prayer for justice can’t but help.

          • Darin says:

I’ve been praying for years now,but not for justice, justice is only suited for a righteous people and I am afraid we are far from a righteous nation anymore.Only a righteous people can see where harm has been done and demand it be justly righted.

No,I am praying for punishment, the wicked have been allowed to run on for too long and as the Bible says in the last days it will be as in the days of Noah and we all know how God dealt with that issue.

The blood of the martyrs cries out,55,000,000 of them unborn, countless more that were born and had their lives ruined because evil has been allowed to run rampant.I believe Ebola and the like are just a little peek down over the rim on God’s cup of wrath, the real flood of punishment has yet to come.In the end there will be people, who even seeing both, will choose Hell over Heaven because it’s all they know.I am determined not to let those people drag the rest of us down.I have washed my hands of them and leave them to God to do as he sees fit.I still have hope there will be a road to Damascus moment and people’s hearts will change, but I am no longer concerned with them otherwise.

Kemper Crabb’s Malediction says it best IMHO-

Oh rid us of this evil, Lord
And turn our hearts by cross or sword
            Our nation cannot long afford
            To live beneath Your anger

A curse, a curse upon their heads
Oh save them Lord or slay them dead
And fill our country with your Dread
            And turn away Your anger.

            • Pascal says:

I know of your vexation because I share it. Yes there are those who know not righteousness. Perhaps it’s better to pray for strength and avoid letting the media’s constant display of the unrighteous blind you to those who are fighting it. For instance the mother’s march against abortion in San Francisco a year or so ago was virtually unknown even as the expected fruit-cakes harassed them on the streets (as was covered by Zombietime). Those who fight the evil deserve justice for their efforts scorned and leading to their persecution.

            • Pascal says:

The blood of the martyrs cries out,55,000,000 of them unborn…

To be a martyr, one must CHOOSE death when other options were made available, however distasteful. A CHOICE.

Those 55 million and counting were not martyrs because they had no choice.

They were human sacrifices. Sacrifices made by mothers womb owners, sometimes from coercion, often by trickery of third parties (I’m looking at you Progs). Sacrifices that did not NEED to be made, but for the programs of the Malthusian cloaked, misanthropic bastards of this post-modern world ruled by megalomaniacal Progs.

The only thing short of the ancient pagan rites was that they were not thrown alive and screaming into a blast furnace. And given the blood-thirstiness of our Progs, don’t bet that won’t start again once they get rid of the very few Judeo-Christian followers there are left.

Not martyrs dammit. They are the murdered. The proprietors of the abattoirs are murderers, but our SSM will never permit me to say so. The few who dare open themselves up for persecution. Like now.

  7. Michael in Nelson says:

All this discussion about travel from Liberia and other countries in the ebola outbreak is an effort in futility. What is the US going to do with the 3000 soldiers is sent there? Refuse them re-entry? Does anyone really believe none of them will become infected? It should be obvious that every one of them that contracts ebola will be shipped back to the US, quite possibly to a military base hospital. I wonder what the chances of a declaration of martial law are once it starts spreading in the military mmmm?

    • Darin says:

What’s needed is a quarantine protocol for foreign health workers/military in Africa. So when they are ready to rotate out, they can head off for quarantine where they will stay for 30 days before returning home.We would be dealing with small numbers, compared to an operation like Iraq which makes it very doable. The key is to quarantine in groups and hold each group for 30 days with daily monitoring.Nobody in the group gets sick in the 30 day period, then back home you go.

As for airspace quarantine stop inbound traffic from Africa, but allow outbound traffic.

It’s not that hard and we can do it,IF we put our minds to it.Sadly America is now run by a group so incompetent they can’t even lock the front door to the WH

Even the corrupt and barely literate (and I mean that in its true sense) President of South Africa suspended flights from the affected west African countries several weeks ago. Of course the dumbass has done nothing to stop the flood of illegals coming through its northern borders to savour the last of the advantages apartheid South Africa had over the rest of sub Saharan Arica.
