It’s only taxpayer’s money, after all….

Auckland Council has voted to set up a Rainbow Advisory Panel today.
The extra $56,500 cost will be met out of the mayoral budget.
Council community development and safety committee chairwoman Cathy Casey last month said the panel would provide an important voice for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex (GLBTI) community.
“We have a responsibility to represent all groups within Auckland and this is an important step in that process.”..’

What the hell is the homo ‘voice’ exactly?
What are the fags saying?Whats so special about the homo voice?
Dammit ,im’ just a homophobic , i think i should throw myself off a tall building and be done with it!Thanks cathy.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

    • KG says:

Me and my beloved have known quite a few gay people over the years, George and not one of them supported this kind of thing. In fact they were almost all very hostile towards it.
You have to wonder just how tiny a minority the activists are.
That tiny minority is destroying the very tolerance they’re claiming to be fighting. Most people have a “live and let live” attitude until they’re faced with abuse and compulsion.

Crimes of the Educators: Why Education Is More Screwed Up Than You Think

    • Warren Tooley says:

Robert that is shocking. It shows how far we’ve gone down this track. In 1983 Antony Sutton wrote a book explaining what was happening with education. That they were using it to socially engineer people first, as a member of society looking out for society’s interests first. And then teach them useful skills 2ndly. And that the reason people couldn’t read well, is too much time was spent on being socially engineered. This is far worse.

      • Robertv says:

For those in power ( not the corrupt politicians) we are just cannon fodder and guinea pigs.

        • Warren Tooley says:

That’s right Robert. We are just revenue generating workers to these people. The politicans aren’t making things better for us. And that’s no matter who’s in power.

          • Darin says:

That’s how socialism works, work and pay, work and pay until you can’t work anymore then it’s no health care for you FOAD we are done with you.

            • Warren Tooley says:

And that’s what the whole purpose of Euthanasia is. In European countries, retirees are flocking to the Phillipines where Euthanasia wouldn’t happen.

Well their’s been a debate for it here in NZ, with one person going through severe pain and saying I want voluntary euthanasia, but we all know it won’t stop their.

  3. Michael in Nelson says:

What the hell is ‘Intersex’ anyway? As if they don’t have enough of a voice already?

Len Brown in Auckland and Jerry Brown in California, long lost brothers?

    • G P says:

Intersex – having sexual organs/characteristics of both sexes.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersex

I do feel truly sorry for these people – their condition is a cruel act of nature. How could they ever decide? I haven’t read any information about suicide statistics for this group.

      • Michael in Nelson says:

If they used the correct ‘Hermphrodite’ I would have kown what was being referred to. I agree these people face tough problems/decisions but it is like calling Homosexuls ‘Gay’

  4. Warren Tooley says:

If your not aware by now, Len Brown is going to raise rates, again. And I begin to wonder if this waste of money has anything to do with it.

  5. Darin says:

“We have a responsibility to represent all groups within Auckland and this is an important step in that process.”..’

No,the only group you’re supposed to represent are the taxpayershttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif

    • Warren Tooley says:

Now that’s a novel idea. So divorced women wouldn’t get any representation, bring it on. But unfortunately everybody pays rates. I pay rates indirectly, the higher the rates my landlord pays, makes my rent go up. Still I like the big picture of your idea.

      • Darin says:

It’s a forgotten concept Warren, forgotten by our bureaucrat masters. We need to remind them…if not with the ballot box, then the ammo box.

        • Warren Tooley says:

So Darin, when was the turning point. At first their was the 3/5 compromise which meant if you owned land, and were a man you had a 100% vote. But if you were a slave you had a 3/5 x 100% vote. Then the 14th amendment came out which put everybody who was a state citizen under US/washington DC jurisdiction, and then the 15th amendment which said all men have equal rights to vote. And then later on women’s rights to vote. At what point was the turning point. Cause it seems like decades ago was this change brought about.

  6. PC says:

I’m curious. What possible advice, from a sexual orientation angle, could these people possibly provide to a body charged with running a city? More phallic public art perhaps? Gay friendly cycle lanes? Transgender friendly public toilets? Intersex sensitive rates demands? Lesbian aware wheelie bin collections? Bisexual parks and reserves? Nope, I’m struggling.

    • KG says:

Me too, PC. It’s just a way of siphoning off more taxpayer’s money to “victim” groups with political influence.

      • Warren Tooley says:

Yes KG, that’s true, but its even worse than that. Its basically third plank communism. To take away the inheritance and provision side of fatherhood. The state is the provider, the state is the benefactor. Now you can’t do that all in one go. So you do it in steps. By making gay relationships look like a normal idea, you take out the childhood responsibility slowly, and pretty soon fatherhood is irrelevant. So I like to call these people third plank marxist/communists. If you look at the communist manifesto, you’ll see just go downhill this country is going.

  7. mistress mara says:

My rates are going up 20%. Yes really. Where the hell does he think working people will find this money? Len Brown and his arse-lickers make me sick.

    • KG says:

The people of Auckland elected a communist, and now we see the results.

    • Warren Tooley says:

That’s outrageous, 20%. Well we were warned. Ever heard the song ‘bad, bad leroy brown’ by Jim Croce. Everything in the song is true of Len Brown. He’s a liar to his wife, and he is untrustworthy with money.
