      It is unarguable that the evils perpetrated upon the Citizens of the United States are fast becoming, indeed may well have become, insufferable. It is equally unarguable that the brave men who forged both that document and your nation would have taken up arms long before now.

      I think you have two choices. The first is to use the mechanism afforded to you with such brilliant prescience; a Convention of the States under Article V. Use it to remediate Washington.

      The second is to go through a Second American Revolution, with who knows what result?

      The rest of us don’t have the luxury of such options. We live in that Elective Tyranny which Alexander Hamilton so feared – all-powerful central governments can pass whatever laws they choose. Our fundamental rights and freedoms are afforded not by God, but by the beneficent State.

        Ain’t that the truth. And people mistake that tyranny for some kind of liberty, never realising that they are only free to do what their masters allow.
        Like sheep in a comfortable paddock.

            The freedom isn’t what scares them. It’s the responsibility to provide for themselves that comes with the freedom.

            Trust me. I’ve grown up in the generation that’s now responsible for making sure the clocks keep ticking.

            Collectivism isn’t driven by goodwill. It’s driven by the inner fear of those that support it, because they know in their heart of hearts that they don’t have the attitude or the aptitude to make it on their own.
