   I grew up being expected to talk shit with other women at social gatherings while the men conversed on issues more interesting than Tupperware or babies’ bowel motions. At a beach bbq, the women were expected to do the food stuff while the men went for a swim or play cricket. Fuck that, and I did when I woke up to it. Women, you are your own worst enemies. I am 100% female but despair at female stupidity.

     But what happens when the last few generations of practical, sensible women are gone? Sure, there will still be many women who don’t buy the bullshit, but probably nowhere near enough of them.

   Agree. The conformity of female (non) thinking is biting. I foolishly went to my wife’s book club once. It was like entering another dimension. I have not been back, not that I was invited.

   Their was a time when only men could vote. Maybe we should go back to those days. Anybody want to express this idea in a public place? Somehow I don’t think their will be many takers.

     I’ve done it successfully Warren,the trick is you must get past being branded a sexist or fascist in the typical knee jerk response that has been programmed into people.

     I don’t agree that only men should vote,there are a good number of men after all that are stump dumb stupid arseholes, and a good number of women who are practical,intelligent individuals.I also don’t agree with Heinlein’s idea that only military service qualifies one to vote.I think a better measure would be military service or being 35 years of age and owning real estate.

     Voluntary military service tends to involve people with a solid moral core.Being aged 35 means much of the stupidity of youth is gone and owning property means you have skin in the game.

     The way you make the argument,and of course don’t waste time arguing with idiots,is by using example and asking questions in an effort that forces them to think.Have them explain,in what universe is it fair that a selfish and lazy drain on society should have the same vote as a hardworking productive member?
     Then point out that such a system is precisely what we have now and that the tyranny of the masses is in full effect.

   Ok Darin, I was afraid to say this, but it looks like I’m not so extreme in my view. I was thinking that their should be a heritage study test. So in an American context, you had only three taxes, property, sales domestic, sales imports. You had a gold standard. While this was the case you had almost no budget deficits, and plenty of budget surpluses. Washington D.C. supplied the army, the postal services. They only supplied what was necessary as a nation.

   So if I had my way, their would be a heritage test that would ask questions about the making up of the nation. How the nation became great. Their would be no multiple choice, it would be one big essay. And if you don’t pass, you have to wait ten years to do it, and you can’t vote in the meantime.

   If you have voters that understand what made your country great, what more can you ask for. But I thought the idea may seem a bit extreme. What do you guys think? By the way the reason three taxes only, works is with 3 taxes you don’t need family assistance, if tax is low enough. And with a gold standard, exports would equal imports. Somehow, if I wrote up the test, most people wouldn’t get high marks.

   Ok what do you guys think?
