    Upon awakening does she also contemplate the fact that African Kingdoms were the sellers of the slaves? Or that the Barbary pirates, aka Muslims, were the distributors of said slaves? How about the fact that slavery still exists in Africa? Or maybe she contemplates the fact that 2,100,000 Northern soldiers (99.9% White) fought to end slavery, with 650,000 to 700,000 of those soldiers killed?     I must have missed something. Is she being held there against her will?

    She seems to foget that in the US, slavery ended 151 years ago, (was it 1865? Correct me if I’m wrong on that), and the US has tried to correct the past wrongs of slavery, but there are countries in the world today where it still exists. Instead of divisive hystrionics about something that happened in the 19th century, why does she not put her efforts into addressing the slavery that still exists in the 21st century. Then again, that night involve doing something constructive, and not just grandstanding.

      Wrong, slavery was never abolished it just changed the way it looks.

      Every form of direct taxation tells you government thinks it has the right to know everything about you.

      In the U.S. Form 1040 tells you you are a slave.

      The Federal Reserve Act enacted December 23, 1913, signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson changed free people into slaves of the almighty Federal Reserve .

    Can we let a little fact get in the way? If I understand correctly, the building all but fell down in the late 1940s, and was so extensively rebuilt that it is now no more than a pastiche of the earlier building.

    The only slaves who built the present building were wage slaves, like the rest of us.
