Trump is against “Free Trade?” – bullshit!

Brother, it ain’t “Free Trade” when an American made car sells for three times what it does in America in Germany, or China!

I say what’s good for the goose is good for the gander – if the Chinese and Germans are going to slap import taxes on our goods we do the same to their goods…until we really have REALLY free trade.

They got it wrong again,I have no problem with free trade,it’s the lack of fair trade that irks me.

I posted this link before, but it demonstrates how we are being screwed by countries that cheat and our own stupid trade deals such as NAFTA-

Well, this is how I work it out. With a gold standard, your exports will equal your imports. David Ricardo’s free trade is where you make socks, cause you have twice the speed that I have, and I make shoes because I have twice the speed as you have with shoes. Ricardo’s free trade meant you exchange one product for another product. With David Hume he explained that if you import more than you export, suppose $800 billion a year, you will have to give up $800 billion in gold. What will happen is you will have less money, making prices and wages go down, this will mean your exports will get cheaper, so next year your exports will go up, and your imports will go down.

The mechanism that isn’t working is market signals. When you borrow $800 billion from China, it can only be used to buy Chinese goods. So all they need to do is lend you $800 billion, and you will automatically import $800 billion more than you export.

True free trade, means both people produce, both people work. The system we have is where one nation works the other borrows.
