    Haven’t read link but on my mind is Valerie Jarrett. She is due some inspection then maybe hanging (allegedly u know). I’m beginning to think that more than a few “folks” require more than prison time. Kinda reminds me of Lincoln’s killers all hanging out together. Perhaps this one can be staged in Muslim Brotherhood Park with lots of space for those who wish to attend.

    Thinking about the enormous amounts of missing money is another subject. All of these things take time and in the 24/7 reality of today patience is needed. I think Trump is a level headed guy. He has had lots of this slime figured out for a long time. We have also. One day at the time has never had a more serious meaning. Bye. 😳

    I have to laugh at people I hear saying we need a 3rd party.Little do they know we have the same fractured,multifaceted bull shit most European nations have.It’s been the cause of the malaise we have been under for the last 20 odd years.

    Not to worry,the longer things run,the more likely it is the groups will begin to coalesce around some of the bigger issues and at some point the pressure will build and there will be a spark.

    The revloution has started though, ala Trump and Brexit. What a shame NZ does not have someone of Trump’s character and calibre, instead of a bunch of lemmings.

      What?!? New Zealand has KG – Give the man some time, he’s new to the country.

      All it takes to start a revolution is one committed man.

      Also, as far as lemmings are concern, I doubt your beautiful island-nation has anymore per person than America or Britain. I do know this for certain that when anything happens in one part of the Anglosphere good or bad, at some point it starts happening in all parts.

      We are family members in Anglosphere, even if not one of our ancestors came from Mother England – we are united by the English language, history and the common law.

      We have great minds.

    This civil war (which isn’t civil) started after 0bozo was elected, it just hasn’t gone hot yet. When will that happen? whenever the people pulling the strings say to.

      I think Lara is right it’s a Global Revolution that will sweep thru all the nations of the world, starting with the Anglosphere.

      Of course, in every country it will be opposed by reactionaries in civil wars, violent or nonviolent.

      In America and Britain it has been peaceful civil war so far, but the way things are going, I don’t think the peace will last much longer.

          Well according to Aristotle, the stage after oligarchy is tyranny – but if tyranny be America’s fate, I would rather have a nationalist dictator like Trump than a Communist one like Bernie Sanders.

          Did you ever read Heinlein’s “Starship Troopers” (1959) where a future federal government is governed by veterans and a few select others who have given four years hazardous service to the state, like police officers and firemen.

          Of course, the general run of citizens would have the same civil rights – except for voting and holding political office.

          Heinlein had a valid point – in the course of human events, mankind has tried all other systems of politics and they have all been found wanting – So why not a state governed by an oligarchy based on merit and service?

    Isn’t it about time Kiwis took to the streets? Or is it just eye candy, concerts, Adele
    and celebrities, the bread and circuses of our age?

    No one out there seems to care much, there is more concern over Bill English and his revolting looking pizza. Maybe I’ll go on a march of my own!
