Yes, Little fat Kim Ding Dong thinks America is a paper tiger, so let’s show him he’s full of shit!

In fact, let’s send a cruise missile into Fatso’s favorite eatery in North Korea and blow him and his Inner Circle to Hell and beyond.

    • Gregoryno6 says:

Thank you, Mara, for the opportunity to share a story that left me lost for words.
We were in the manager’s office for a staff meeting, which was winding down, and somehow the topic of sex changes came up. The sales rep told us of a night at the local with his outside of work mates, and they were joined by this rather cute lady. It turned out that the lady had once been one of the gang. Jimmy had gone off and been forgotten, only to return as Jane.
One of the boys – the sales rep swore up and down it wasn’t him – was supposed to have rolled up at Jane’s house a few days later and said Well, let’s give it a road test…
At which point not a single customer walked in to break the WTF silence.

Reminds me of the story about the American quest for the perfect writing implement – which ends with the punchline ‘The Russians used a pencil’.
That story has been declared an urban myth but it illustrates a valuable point. You don’t always get the best result by throwing unlimited dollars at a problem.

      • KG says:

        Too true, Gregory.
The Bronco is the perfect tool for the job, far, far more so than the bloody gold-plated zoomie.
And therein lies the problem- the Pentagon, contractor lobbyists and politicians just hate cheap solutions. Not enough pork, you see.
        (Poorly written article, though)

I’m finding it really hard to keep up. I thought Preibus was handpicked by Trump? Figured that was a seal of approval – not to mention a sign that the man had been checked out and his loyalties determined.

      • Pascal says:

“a sign that the man had been checked out and his loyalties determined.”

Yup. And was DJT advised to keep his friends close and his enemies closer? In the early stages at least, rather have him inside the tent pissing out than outside pissing in. Still, it’s not over until the fat lady sings.

Clichés aside, we are all advised not to take DJT’s talk too seriously but instead weigh his actions and assess where he’s headed.

It’s a step in the right direction, but doesn’t go far enough. This needs to be codified in law and not just an EO.

    Hi all –

First night with a new monitor for my PC – woohoo!

The old one had an on-off switch that was giving me the run-around – you’d press it and the monitor would go on (for 2-3 seconds) then off… on…. off.
Arrgh. So I bought this one from a reputable trader on TradeMe (NZ equivalent of eBay). It’s an Acer – just over $NZ100 , 20 inches and it works fine….. :)

  15. Gregoryno6 says:

My first PC was Acer desktop+screen. When I got the current desktop custom built I stuck with Acer and got a 21″ monitor. Pretty good value for money – in fact, I’m still using some softwares that I got free with the first comp.

    • KG says:

Yep. I’ve recycled an old computer and installed Linux Mint, total cost about $25. Works great.
When this iMac dies the Linux box will still be going strong I reckon.
I don’t feel the urge for newer/faster/flashier. It’s called conservatism.

  16. KG says:

Doesn’t come much fakier than this:
‘The Associated Press edited the words of a Muslim man who allegedly killed three white people in downtown Fresno Tuesday afternoon and shouted “Allahu Akbar!” The suspect, 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad, holds fervent anti-Trump beliefs according to his social media profile, and he told police afterward that he hates white people. (RELATED: Muslim Shooter Kills Three Whites In Fresno) Rather than reporting the gunman’s literal words, however, the AP reported the gunman as saying “God is great.” On Twitter, the AP’s report gave no indication that the suspect’s words were said in Arabic.’

    • Ronbo says:

Maybe….If they could only launch that darn missile!

      • Ronbo says:

Another thing – even assuming the NORKS can do such a dastardly deed – which I doubt at this point – they still get pounded back beyond the Stone Age (along with China, the NORKS good buddy) because the U.S. military is secured against EMP blasts – and would launch about 20,000 nukes into Northeast Asia in revenge real quick.

This would take out both the NORKS and CHICOMs….also, very likely everyone in the North Hemisphere with high radiation levels.

The good news for Australia and New Zealand would be by default they would quickly become the most powerful nations in Southern Hemisphere – and, therefore, rule the earth….as what would be left of the U.S. military would redeploy Down Under to escape death by radiation – and the officers in charge would place themselves under the command of Allied governments, since they would not have a Homeland.

        • Gregoryno6 says:

‘what would be left of the U.S. military would redeploy Down Under’
          It’s happened before.

          • Ronbo says:

            Right you are, Greg!

Australia and New Zealand become the rally point for the Allies in the Pacific after we lost just about everything else in the Pacific to the Japs in early 1942 – and those countries were stripped bare of troops and fighting units to supply the fronts in North Africa, Middle East and Europe.

Of course, we know the Allies won the “Race to Australia” – but it was a close thing – and had not the Japs been given a bloody nose in the Battle of the Coral Sea, Australia and New Zealand may have been invaded…

Those were the days, heh? Heroic days. Men and women standing together doing what it took to save their nations. Allied cooperation world wide…Teamwork….Heading the Indians off at pass with the cavalry blowing the bugle to signal the charge and saving the day at the last minute.

  17. Ronbo says:

“Don’t fire unless fired upon. But if they want a war let it begin here.” —Captain John Parker, commander of the militiamen at Lexington, Massachusetts, on sighting British troops.

On this day in 1775, American militiamen at Lexington and Concord confronted 700 British Red Coats — firing the opening volley for American Liberty. The British governor had ordered his troops to seize weapons in Concord. It is no small irony that the first shots of the Revolution were fired in response to a gun confiscation order.

    • KG says:

I’m looking for a good documentary on the Revolution that I can download. Any recommendations, Ronbo?

“The paper also suggested that young men should be “screened” to see if they are too preoccupied with their biceps.

“Both heterosexual and sexual minority males are at risk for presenting body image concerns and weight- and shape-related behaviors that may have deleterious health consequences,” the paper said. “Results suggest the need for screening for concerns and behaviors related to leanness and muscularity in early adolescence among all males, regardless of sexual orientation.”
In other words,we don’t want young males to develop normal masculinity, because -Patriarchy.

Thanks. I sure have the time, still being on crutches and all. Not as though I can get out and go hiking, is it?
      I’ll D/L all three.

Thanks for the good wishes. I rode in the car for the first time in weeks today, and managed to walk without the crutches for a short time. We will not be defeated, Sarge.

    • Pascal says:

The makers of the first video appear to be from the Frankfurt School and miss no opportunity to assign ambition and arrogance to Washington and others. Screen-writers schooled in Critical Theory.

I found it far better to read “1776” by David McCullough — and still have it on my shelf — because I didn’t feel like I was being propagandized against America’s founders at all.

      • KG says:

I’ll have to make do with the video, Pascal, but I’ll bear what you’re saying in mind as I watch it.

        • Pascal says:

I had little doubt you could deal with the propaganda KG. I simply didn’t want this thing be granted a CR recommendation in a “silence is agreement” sort of way. It even has what looks like fake news embedded within it. Such as directing the actor to depict Washington constantly with his nose in the air. As if the common man would follow such a fop. Even were we to agree he might entertain superior airs, there was no way he’d display them openly: he was stern yet loved. His opponents back then, especially after 1789, no doubt would make such charges. And today the Leftist media would almost certainly lean heavily on such and claim this was their right under “artistic” choice to depict him that way. The tearing down of all founders by the Progs in the early 1900s began with attacks on Washington.

Then there is this scene: depicting Washington signing an order banning black recruits, with a voice-over by the Washington actor saying “the rights of mankind will have sufficient numbers to defend them without resorting to such wretched assistance.” While it is true that many would hold such notions, it is highly unlikely Washington would actually be on record with such words. It would gain him nothing to say so openly. So I submit that this is evidence of fake news by the British then and by our Progs now.

          • KG says:

“So I submit that this is evidence of fake news by the British then and by our Progs now.”
            Indeed it is!

  19. Darin says:

A&E did an American revolution series that was fairly good –

    Pt’s 1 – 5

IMO one of the best series produced as it mentions most of the smaller players as well as Washington,Franklin etc.

It also points out just how close Canada came to being the 14th colony.

    • KG says:

Great stuff! Thanks for that. Wabbit is going to edjamacate himself.

    • Ronbo says:

The conquest of Canada in the American Revolution was a bold plan, but it proved to be A Bridge Too Far. In the war of 1812, we marched north again with negative results.

I guess God loves Canada, heh?

How very appropriate…an ugly, racist cretin to lead ugly, racist cretins.

    • Darin says:

Possibly one of the stupidest women to have ever lived.

      • Ronbo says:

The Left wants their politicians to be dumb as rocks – the more stupid – the better.

        Why, you would ask?

Well, dear friends the open secret among those geeks of the Right like me who study this stuff is that the Congressional Democrat Party counts as “Grunts” – the Infantry of the Left who takes the political objectives laid out by “Big Brass Hats” of the oligarchy – like the owner of the New York Times and George Soros – to mention only a couple of oligarchs in good standing.

Like the generals have long discovered you want your infantrymen well trained, obedient to every order the brass hats give, even the most silly and destructive, brave and not very bright.

How else would you get U.S. 7th Cavalry troops (mounted infantry) who numbered less than 300 to charge 10,000 blood thirsty Indian warriors at the Little Big Horn with bugles blowing and flags flying?

There is the main reason why the Democrat Party has lost over 1,000 local, state and federal political seats since 2010 – stupid people don’t make successful politicians.

        • Pascal says:

The avante garde; the shock troops of the Progs. Useful idiots all.

          • Ronbo says:

Indeed, the Democrat rank&file are low I.Q. people who actually BELIEVE the propaganda of the Leftist Media – This is why they were so shocked that Trump beat the Hildabeast, because they actually believed the Leftist Media lies that she was going to win in a landslide.

…and now they believe the New Line that the Russians stole the election for Trump despite this being impossible in any number of ways.

Yes, “useful idiots” is correct, because like I told this Leftist once that if the Progressives were successful and overthrew the Republic and instituted totalitarian rule, he would go to a concentration camp long before me.

            “Why,” he asked?

“Simple. Ronbo is an open enemy of the Progressivism; however, you are a member of the party who isn’t exactly 100% in favor of the party line, which means a rival within the ranks – and the Party can’t have any opposition, so you lose your head before they take mine.”

            • Gregoryno6 says:

Australian cartoonist Bill Leak learnt that lesson too. When the left unloaded a shitstorm on his head for his cartoon he couldn’t believe it – ‘I thought these people were my FRIENDS!’ or words to that effect.
Well, Billy boy, you should have seen what they said about you AFTER you were gone.

            • Pascal says:

And all you said fell on deaf ears. It’s even now still as Solzhenitsyn reported: the most convinced stalinist died in the Gulag muttering “if Stalin only knew.”

And that was the 100% committed Stalinists too. They either knew too much and had lost their usefulness, or else the risk from letting them continue breathing was deemed as exceeding whatever usefulness they had left. But yes, they remained idiots right up to their last breath.

In fact, the Utilitarian nutcases in my oft repeated slogan are perhaps the worst of the lot — because the ones at the very top are the greatest users of all.

I wonder if the NZ Herald printed the date, time and place of the Normandy invasion in 1944?

    • Darin says:

Typical, and more conformation that liberalism is a mental disorder.

      • Ronbo says:

Actually it’s a totalitarian religion that shares many things in common with Islam: Intolerant, violent and imperialistic. Yes, the true believer may appear to sane people as irrational, but in fact they are just being devout.

  25. Michael in Nelson says:

    • KG says:

 Only a racist would notice that! G’day Michael.

      • Ronbo says:

If you’re white, you’re racist, imperialistic, and a tyrant. It’s in our genes from way back when our race was living in Arctic and became ruthless warriors – nature’s ultimate human fighting machine…

Then the earth got warmer and the Icemen of the north came south out of the snow hardened by generations of survival in the most brutal region of the planet…blond haired, blue eyed lusty killer-apes who came to be called “Aryans: The Master Race” (Also called “The Indio-Europeans”) and conquered all the weak little peace loving colored people of the world.

Okay, if we are “Supermen” – why did we let go of “The Power?”

■Rear ramp is too weak to support fully equipped soldiers

■Floor is so sensitive that it can be cracked by boots

■The helicopter’s winch is not powerful enough for the fast-roping of commando teams.

It’s hard to see it going any other way… but your gunophobic lefties are starting from way back in terms of weapons knowledge. On the other side – a lot of the folks in uniform are tight behind Trump, I understand, and I can see them eating latte-loving hipsters for breakfast.
Experience at the front line against people who have the skills to kill you, versus whiny beardboys with an hour on the shooting range. It won’t be pretty.

      • Ronbo says:

Yes, it’s a dangerous situation FOR THE LEFT because they believe their own propaganda and have had mostly success with the use of non-gun violence and think Rightist are easy prey being nice conservative folks, but when bullets start flying it’s a whole new ballgame called civil war where they are way behind the learning curve.
