‘ALISON UNCHAINED

A wonderful victory for Australian freelance journalist Alison Bevege, who has single-handedly dragged our Hizbie friends into the mid-19th century:
Radical Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir will not be allowed to segregate women at its events after a NSW tribunal ruled in favour of a female journalist.
Former News Limited journalist Alison Bevege sued the group and five members for sexual discrimination after she was forced to sit in the women and children’s section at a public lecture she reported on in 2014.
The freelancer called her win “a victory for secular law over theocratic fascism.”..’
Tim Blair’s readers have already donated $2,500 to compensate Alison for her time and efforts.
Lawfare – the way to go against these primitive bastards.

Peace and old age, the hardest things of all.

‘The real problem was being able to stick it out, to sit in an office under the orders of a wee man in a dark gray suit and look out of the window and recall the bush country, the waving palms, the smell of sweat and cordite, the grunts of men hauling the jeeps over the river crossings, the copper-tasting fears just before the attack, and the wild cruel joy of being alive afterward. To remember, and then to go back to the ledgers and the commuter train, that was what was impossible…’

‘Immigration or an iPhone’

Daniel Greenfield:
‘..We do not have an iPhone encryption problem or a shoe problem or a mouthwash problem. We have a Muslim terror problem. Whatever decision is made about iPhone encryption will not be the last word. The simple reality is that privacy carries too high a price as long as we have large numbers of people in this country who want to kill us in equally large numbers. If we want our privacy back, it’s not the FBI that is standing in our way. It’s the religious organizations that are paid to bring Muslim “refugees” to this country. It’s the liberal, libertarian and even conservative voices that think there is something wrong with pausing the mass migration of the group that is disproportionately responsible for our terror problem. It’s the media that would rather discuss anything and everything than discuss the problem we are really dealing with.
This is not an iOS problem. It’s an immigration problem.’

‘Pitt Students ‘In Tears’ and Feeling ‘Unsafe’ After Milo Yiannopoulos Event

The University of Pittsburgh’s Student Government Board held a public meeting on Tuesday to discuss the traumatizing visit the night before from “dangerous” homosexual and Breitbart Tech Editor Milo Yiannopoulos, during which students described themselves as feeling “hurt” and “unsafe.”
…“So many of us shared in our pain. I felt I was in danger, and I felt so many people in that room were in danger,” proclaimed Marcus Robinson, student and president of the Pittsburgh Rainbow Alliance. Robinson also suggested that councilors should have been provided in another room to protect students who felt “traumatized” by Yiannopoulos’s opinions…’

The poor wee things..the truly terrifying thought is that one day these precious petals will be in charge of stuff. And – God help us – they’ll be breeding.

The latest Woodpile Report is up.

‘..Current thinking says survival requires the fitness regimen of a nineteen year-old Lance Corporal. Spare me. All my life there have been truly old men around me—many carrying the effects of physical disasters—whose daily workload would stagger an athlete. Then I’m reminded of body builders I’ve seen in industry, hothouse specimens who couldn’t, and didn’t, stand up to their first day on the production floor. Physically or mentally. I’ll take people who’ve bested a few of life’s meat grinders, they come out beaten up but fit in unteachable ways…’
