Caught this in the headlines this morning.
A coalition of Muslim leaders warned the United States that if military action against Muslim countries continues, they intend to cut off America’s supply of 7-11 and Motel 6 managers. If this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Dell, AT&T, and AOL customer service reps. Finally, if all else fails, they have threatened not to send us any more Presidents.
It’s going to get ugly, people.

The cost of Japan’s reconstruction after the biggest natural disaster in her history: Somewhere around $US180 billion.

The (U.S.) federal government’s budget deficit grew by $222.5 billion in February, the largest one-month increase in history.
It’s a sobering thought that a year’s worth of deficit would pay for Japan’s reconstruction 12 times over…..

And chock-full of fascinating stuff, as always. Take a look at ‘Innocence’:

“For 15 years, from the mid 1970’s to 1990, I worked in Detroit, Michigan .

I watched it descend into the abyss of crime, debauchery, gun play, drugs, school truancy, car-jacking, gangs, and human depravity.  I watched entire city blocks burned out.  I watched graffiti explode on buildings, cars, trucks, buses, and school yards.  Trash everywhere!  Detroiters walked through it, tossed more into it, and ignored it.

Tens of thousands, and then hundreds of thousands today exist on federal welfare, free housing, and food stamps!  With Aid to Dependent Children, minority women birthed eight to 10, and in one case, one woman birthed 24 children as reported by the Detroit Free Press, all on American taxpayer dollars.

A new child meant a new car payment, new TV, and whatever mom wanted.  I saw Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ flourish in Detroit . If you give money for doing nothing, you will get more hands out taking money for doing nothing.

Mayor Coleman Young , perhaps the most corrupt mayor in America, outside of Richard Daley in Chicago, rode Detroit down to its knees… He set the benchmark for cronyism, incompetence, and arrogance.  As a black man, he said, “I am the MFIC.” The IC meant “in charge”.

You can figure out the rest.  Detroit became a majority black city with 67 percent African-Americans.

The shocking attack occurred around 1 am as the terrorist entered the family home and murdered three children aged 11, 3, and a baby girl along with their parents. The victims were apparently sleeping as the killer came in.
…Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah hit the streets Saturday to celebrate the terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Itamar where five family members were murdered in their sleep, including three children.
Residents handed out candy and sweets, one resident saying the joy “is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank.” ‘

For every Israeli murdered, I’d like to see 10 “palestinian” males lined up in front of a wall and shot. Not until then will this barbarity cease.
