  1. Hmmmm.. I wonder what else was heading north in 2022?

“The sterile flies proceeded to, well, screw the continent’s wild populations into oblivion, and in 2006, an invisible barrier was established at the Darién Gap, the jungle that straddles the Panama-Colombia border, to cordon the screwworm-free north off from the south. The barrier, as I observed when I reported from Panama several years ago, consisted of planes releasing millions of sterile screwworms to rain down over the Darién Gap every week. This never-ending battle kept the threat of screwworms far from America.
But in 2022, the barrier was breached. Cases in Panama—mostly in cattle—skyrocketed from dozens a year to 1,000, despite ongoing drops of sterile flies. The parasite then began moving northward, at first slowly and then rapidly by 2024, which is when I began getting alarmed emails from those following the situation in Central America. As of this month, the parasite has advanced 1,600 miles through eight countries to reach Oaxaca and Veracruz in Mexico, with 700 miles left to go until the Texas border. The U.S. subsequently suspended live-cattle imports from Mexico.”

    • Methinks someone began cutting corners in the irradiation process and pocketed the money. Another gift from th Biden Administration?

    • As Thomas Sowell pointed out- It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

I think elected officials should have some skin in the game. Maybe they should have to surrender all their assets into the budgets they are charged with maintaining. And if inflation when they leave office has risen 15%, they take a 15% hair cut like the rest of us? Or if the economy crashes and the market looses 40% of it’s value, so do they?

      • For local politicians, I would like to see their salaries cut by the same percentage they raise the local budget.

      • Is it only me? The current crop of politicians (I hesitate to use that word) just seem to be the most useless self-serving bunch of idiots ever. This is worldwide. It is no wonder that country after country has a debt problem, low growth and poor productivity. And what is their solution? – wasting billions on Net Zero, talking war and spending billions on armaments, importing welfare recipients, handing education over to uneducated and indoctrinated teachers, worshiping people with gender dysphoria and other mental illnesses, actively destroying race relations, etc, etc. I could go on.

I should probably just return to Africa and face the murderous crime and “load shedding” (Loss of electricity for hours every day). At least the boys play in boys teams and there is no expectation for the politicians to do anything other than parade around in their fancy Western clothing and expensive jewellery, and get driven around in highly expensive black cars in a motorcade with dozens of trigger-happy thugs to protect them.

        • I can’t wrap my head around why they act the way they do? Is there something about to happen that we don’t know about? Big chunk of space rock headed this way and they know nothing will matter after it hits or?
CCP has dirt on all of them? Or are they all just a bunch of sex addicted perverts that snort nose candy all day and do little else?

    • Comments now appear below the main article when clicking on ‘comment’. Still look odd with the new font though. https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

    • They just keep stacking it on with no regard don’t they?https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

The numbers I saw for the US the other day. Government was consuming 17% of GDP prior to Covid. During Covid that spiked to 27%, but after Covid the number never came back down.

    • She and her fellow idiots turned their backs to the screen. It’s hard to face the truth when one has been so indoctrinated.

    • From my home town. I find NZ curries too bland. With Durban curries rule 1 – never take the condiments from the back of the trolley. If you do you’ll find out what really hot is. Of course we did.

A Durban special is the Bunny Chow. Usually from a food cart late at night – a half loaf of bread hollowed out and filled with curry.

    • Sadly, Waltz doesn’t give a rat’s a$$ about the citizens of Minnesota.

        • Watch how quickly this fades from the attention of the MSM. Can’t have one of their own being shown in a bad light eh? Thank God for the rise of independent news!

          • They are refusing to release his manifesto, so you know it goes against the narrative.

    • Yes! And here is a golden opportunity for republicans, there are already dems in vulnerable seats announcing retirement. Those seats could be an easy pickup if they just put some effort into it.The last election also showed us that many districts and seats in California and NY are in play if they can just get some quality candidates in position and then back them.

  2. England’s and Wales’ MP’s have voted to decriminalise abortions. Up until now they have allowed recognised providers to perform abortions up to 24 weeks. This move allows women to abort their children up to the time of birth of their child. Sickening!

The bit below is not for sensitive readers!

Essentially it has become legal to allow the delivery of the baby’s head and then insert a suction catheter through one of the fontanelles (holes between the bones in the immature skull) and suck its brain out to kill it.

    What has happened to humanity?

    • Mawm, this was something a lot of people around the world didn’t realize about Abortion in the US. Until recently most states allowed abortion right up to the moment of delivery for any reason. And despite what abortion activists say, it was quite common.Literal infanticide with the government’s seal of approval. Then came the revelation that Planned Parenthood (oxymoron) was making bank selling aborted fetus parts and pieces for research as well as cosmetics.
The good news here is Planned Parenthood’s funding will hopefully be cut in the upcoming budget.
      https://www.kff.org/womens-health-policy/issue-brief/major-federal-and-state-funding-cuts-facing-planned-parenthood/

They always drag out the old saw about “Oh but women’s healthcare” in reality ANY doctor that accepts Medicaid can handle the healthcare side of things, PP is just redundant. It’s the taxpayer funded baby butchering that’s going away hopefully.

        • In 1973 Abortion was legal in most states up until viability(22-24 weeks) or after in the case of rape, incest or the save the life of the mother.Other states were doctor’s consent only and still others were elective at any point in the pregnancy.
In Roe-v-Wade, the court established a Constitutional right to an abortion at the federal level where previously it was unknown in federal law. They twisted the privacy clause in the Bill of Rights to do that. Legal critics, even ones in favor of abortion being a federal mandate criticized it as being a bad ruling and judicial over reach, and it was, because SCOTUS does not have the ability to grant constitutional rights.
With the Hobbs decision in 2022,SCOTUS reversed Roe, which sent the question of legality back to the states. So currently there is no Federal law allowing for abortion, it’s all back at the state level, which is where it was to begin with.
So now since 2022, the various states have gone back and reiterated state law, to reflect the will of the people. More conservative states have gone back to viability (20 weeks in most cases) with an exception for rape, incest and the life of the mother. More liberal states like California and New York have gone with abortion on demand at any point in the pregnancy.

    • The law in NZ actually allows for abortion up to the moment of birth, it’s just couched in terms to make people think more consultation is required which supposedly would limit it,

      • The Law allows abortion under certain circumstances – maternal health, sever foetal abnormality, but this is heavily regulated both by the law and the medical system. Nobody in NZ is doing anything like I described.

        • The last I knew, the law allowed for an abortion up to 20 weeks on a decision between the mother and her doctor. For pregnancies beyond 20 weeks, there is a requirement for a consultation with a second physician but ultimately, the decision resides with the mother. I am unaware of any consideration of the father’s desires or the baby’s.

          • That’s another point about US law. The pro-abortion side argues that it should be a decision between the woman and her doctor. The catch is, there is no requirement for an abortionist to be a medical doctor or have a licence to practice medicine. And how could they without violating the oath?
So we wound up with butchers like Kermit Gosnell

  3. A few of things about this article…

    https://www.breitbart.com/crime/2025/06/23/video-60-critically-missing-florida-children-rescued-during-operation-dragon-eye/

    1. This is in a hard red state dedicated to enforcing the law.
    2. 60 kids in only 3 counties.
    3. There needs to be an increase in wood chipper production and use.
    4. I hate to think what is going on in liberal states.
    5. For those who ‘…won’t be happy until I see arrests’, these sorts of operations qualify just as much as a solitary corrupt politician going to jail.
    6. The Biden Administration lost track of over 600,000 kids.

    • I still think that was the real reason the media went after Trump in his first term. When he first took office he and Sessions were going hard after these trafficking rings and gangs. I bet they got too close to some pretty important people.
