    The whole EU project has long been called the slowest moving coup in world history. There has been nothing democratic about it since the start. The only question is whether it will fall apart before or after it brings down all of Europe.

    And you know what? Even if Europe reverts to what it was before the EU, the rotten bureaucracies and the leeches that inhabit them will live on like the Beast That Wouldn’t Die.
    Politicians will still syphon off taxpayer’s money to pay for them because they offer the perfect plausibly denial front for creeping totalitarianism.
    And what politician – of whatever stripe – could resist that?
