20 staffers to work on this case? All you need is one person with common sense. Remove the kids, put the parents (if you can call them that) in prison. End of discussion!

    • KG says:

Yep. Exactly. The problem Katie (well, part of the problem at least) is that child abuse is now an industry. Lots of jobs, ‘career paths’ and job security and bureaucratic horsecrap.
      But bugger-all child protection.

      • Cadwallader says:

If these primitive creeps did not breed as profusely as they do, there’d be no need for child protection at all. I think there must almost be one a week in maori NZ these days. A separate roll of child abuse/killings for maoris would be revelatory.

I really am starting to lose count.

When I go to sleep at night rather than counting sheep I count Maori atrocities committed against either their own children or those within their wider whanau, or against non-Maori [generally white] who are innocently going about their business.

And while I get to sleep before even getting back more than a month, why do I keep waking up in a cold sweat imagining there is a 16 year old Maori ‘youth’ with a 300mm blade just about to slit my throat???

I think I may revert back to counting sheep …

    The savage gene strikes again!

  4. KG says:

It gets monotonous, Erikter but at the same time I think it’s important to keep highlighting the problem, otherwise it just becomes an unremarked part of the landscape. I don’t ever want to become indifferent to savagery.

  5. Andrei says:

This is a classic example of how liberalism has fucked up.

Two generations ago there were three homicides per year in this country and they were not babies getting killed.

We are damn near getting three babies a month now!

  6. KG says:

Yet the police and politicians insist that the stats show that violent crime is decreasing!

What is going on with Plunket? Last week my neighbour(an old woman) and I noticed a Plunket nurse crossing the road to her parked car. We were unaware that a neighbour of ours had had a baby and interestedly enquired as to its location, even though it was fairly obvious. We were told that she could not divulge this information, nor any detail whatsoever. The privacy act, or some such rot. In the olden days, the arrival of a new baby in the street would be an occasion of some joy in the street. This incident, among other things, leads me to wonder if the organisation has been infected with PC. I,m damm sure that they are not now able to effectively intervene to save vulnerable babies as they once were. Maybe the Te Reo, diversity, cultural awareness and human rights courses aren’t as effective as they could be. We need another commission, another govt. green or white paper. More fucking “dialogue.” That’ll fix it.

“We need another commission, another govt. green or white paper. More fucking “dialogue.”
Yeah, exactly, Mara. More pretend make-busy for petty bureaucrats that goes nowhere, fixes nothing, but gives the impression that they’re actually usefully employed.

“We” need another Sue Bradford law supported by the treacherous National Party, that will solve the problem……….yeah right.
