What we face today is no less a “hinge of history” than what those men faced at that time.
Our enemy isn’t a foreign king and his agents don’t wear red coats. If it was, the solution would be easy. Instead the enemy is a self- appointed elite and their agents wear the masks of faux compassion and “reasonableness'” while peddling an illusory equality and dreams of a world without conflict.
They use–and some are–the media, academia, teacher’s unions and a vast, vast dispiriting army of usefully uninformed fools who parrot the poisonous lines fed them by their overlords. That vast army who are too apathetic to learn that they’re mere tools help enforce the speech codes and submissive behaviour they’ve been indoctrinated with. They enforce it also partly out of cowardice, because to question the PC commandments is to come face-to-face with the choices men must necessarily make if they’re to become free.
The same people will support–or at least not oppose–every legally sanctioned encroachment on our liberties because they’ve been conditioned to equate laws with security. It’s not even a conscious tradeoff any more.
The great submissive herd necessary for world government has already been created. and short of a worldwide catastrophic event nothing in my lifetime or yours is going to turn the juggernaut around.
And you know what? It’s all our own work. We did it to ourselves out of our own laziness and apathy and an idiot belief in the essential goodness of Man.
