Says it all, really…..

The difference between two candidates in the upcoming Queensland elections. This surely encapsulates the difference between socialist scumbag politicians and conservatives.  (Thanks to Andrew Bolt).
‘..Check out the CVs of the two main candidates running for Ashgrove, Campbell Newman and Labor’s Kate Jones:
Jones arrived in the Queensland Parliament in 2006 aged 27…Her political flame was ignited in 1996, Jones said, when John Howard toppled Paul Keating. She despised Howard.
That was also the year she was sent by Labor to Queensland Youth Parliament where she was elected “Premier”.
After completing an arts journalism degree at QUT, Jones worked in the office of former state treasurer David Hamill. She was 21.

From there she switched to the office of Robert Schwarten, the Works Minister… She was a member of his Labor Unity faction, which got her elected … and later propelled her into cabinet where her achievements were scant….
At 14, she worked in McDonald’s at the Myer Centre in the Brisbane CBD… Nevertheless it has to be said that Jones has been a prisoner of the Labor Party all her adult life and has little experience outside it…
Newman … got a Bachelor of Engineering degree – with honours – before returning to study his MBA.
He joined the Army and stayed there for 13 years while serving in Germany, Hawaii, the Solomon Islands and PNG. Later in the private sector, he ran the state’s massive grain handling system with 600 staff…. Next he worked as a management consultant for blue-chip firms BHP, Australia Coal and Telstra.
Apart from a brief stint as an ALP organiser, Jones ever only had a glancing blow with private business at Maccas.
Newman also had seven years in City Hall, becoming one of the most successful lord mayors in Brisbane’s history…’
