Lets see if I can get through the day without CAD crashing.

  2. KG says:

Why does it crash so frequently?

  3. KG says:

It’s 0716 here, raining heavily and pretty hot. So it’s a beer for breakfast before I pack some more stuff up.

A nice video of the Battle of Tskhinval (or Tskhinvali if you prefer) where a Nato wannabe got his butt kicked four years ago

    • KG says:

      Hmmmm…
“What thwarted the Georgian operation in the end was not the Russian Air Force, but the resistance offered by peacekeepers and lightly armed, poorly organized South Ossetian units that stayed behind to defend the capital… Essentially, the Georgian troops failed to take Tskhinvali because they were not prepared psychologically for severe urban fighting.”
Should European countries break down into civil war, it’s going to be messy beyond anything current generations can imagine.

      • Andrei says:

Yes, the South Ossetian Militia held the Georgians at bay for hours which allowed the Russians to move troops into South Ossetia via the Roki tunnel unopposed and after that it was game over.

If or when civil war breaks out in European nation and they try and use local troops to suppress it – the big risk is the army will join the rebels or if they use Nato troops it will be seen as a foreign venture and alienate even more people.

Either way it is very messy

I’ve seen this article, and I’m a little confused. Perhaps one of our military or ex-military friends can help me… Is it a healthy situation when soldiers are so mistrusted by their superiors they are disarmed before being addressed by the Secretary of Defence?

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/afghanistan/9144379/Soldiers-asked-to-disarm-during-Leon-Panetta-speech.html

    • KG says:

Well, it’s never happened before, far as I know Gantt. Either Panetta has no balls or the brass is nervous. Or both.
Either way, it’s not a good look.

    • Andrei says:

You might just wonder about the religion of the fellow who committed the massacre and what his motives might have been.

I remember the Fort Hood Massacre and the awkward ways they tried to keep those details secret and control the narrative.

I wonder how many in the US Forces right now are actually fifth columnists able too infiltrate because of political correctness?

    • Katie says:

I wonder why the administration is scared of our troops?

 Pure gold, Ciaron … Although (and I accept it’s virtually certain now) I suspect independence might be one of those ‘be careful what you wish for’ thingies.

      • The Gantt Guy says:

Incidentally, you’ve probably seen the Mel Gibs*n movie ‘Braveheart’, right? Well, like most hollywood movies, it’s all BS. Here’s what really happened:

Edward I of England comes to Scotland to conquer the Scots. He brings 4,000 men with him. As he nears the battlefield, there suddenly appears a solitary figure on the crest of the hill. A short, ginger-haired guy in a kilt.

‘Come up here, ya English bastards, and I’ll give ye a hammerin’!’

Edward turns to his commander. ‘Send 20 men to deal with that little Scottish upstart’, he says.

The commander sends twenty of his best men over the hill to kill the Scotsman. Ten minutes later, at the crest of the hill, the little Scot appears again.

‘Ya English diddies!’ he yells. ‘Come on the rest of ye! Come on,
        I’ll take ye all on!’

Edward is getting somewhat annoyed. He turns to his commander. ‘Send 100 men to kill that little shite !’ The commander sends 100 men to do the job.

Ten minutes later, the little Scot appears at the top of the hill once more, his hair all sticking up, his shirt a wee bit torn.

‘Ya English SCUM !’ he yells. ‘I’m just warming up! Come and get me, Ya English shites !’

Edward losses patience. ‘Commander, take 400 men and personally wipe that little bastard off the face of the earth!’ he yells.

The commander gulps, but leads four hundred men on horseback over the crest of the hill.

Ten minutes later, the little Scotsman is back.

His clothing is all torn, his face is covered in blood, Snot and Irn-Bru.

‘Is that the best ye can do? You’re bloody WUMMIN! Come on!
Come and have a go, ya bunch of English Shites!’ he yells.

Edward turns to his second in command. ‘Take 1,000 men over that hill and don’t come back till you’ve killed that little red haired bastard!’ he commands.

The second in command gathers the men and they ride off over the hill to their fate.

Ten minutes later, one of the English troops appears back at the top of the hill, covered in blood, his clothes all torn off his back.

‘Your Majesty!’ he yells. ‘It’s a trap! There’s two of the bastards!”

I see a multicultural import from somalia has gone on a knife rage in Chch and got double-tapped for his keen efforts at trying to connect in a meaningful way with the normal people he encountered on his personal odessey.

Unfortunately the shots were wild and missed vital organs.

Bleeding hearts will, I predict, assert that he is a victim and his uncharacteristic behaviour was as a direct result of both his somalian experiences and the dire alienation and despair he suffered since parachuting into the NZ welfare system.

  14. The Gantt Guy says:

I don’t very often visit infowars.com (they’re a little extreme for me, although a couple years ago if someone had told me some of the positions I now hold on various issues, I would have called them nut jobs) but when I saw Alex Jones calling for Angelina Jolie to be arrested for war crimes, I thought “go Alex”. It’s a top class rant by any benchmark.

  15. KG says:

It’s getting to be hard to keep up, Gantt–yesterday’s ‘extreme’ is today’s ordinary.
Yep, a good rant all right. And it touches on some very evil stuff indeed apart from the Kony business.
Jolie is being used to play the bleeding heart mob like a fiddle.

  16. KG says:

And speaking of propaganda….this headline in today’s News.com. The article in no more than a reprint of a pr handout, yet the have the nerve to describe it as “From correspondents in Paris”

      Arm the bastards!

      • The Gantt Guy says:

        hmmm. From the article:

        “The father of seven…”

I wonder how he feeds his wife(s?) and 7 children. Most likely he doesn’t – you and I do.

“What I teach are the teachings from the Koran, and if these people want to consider the truths from Allah as extreme, then in that case I am extreme”

There you have it, from the horse’s mouth. Deport the bastard, now.

And in a fit of useful idiocy…

“In the interview earlier this week, Mr Abdullah said that he had clashed with the mosque management about its plans to start charging for madrassa, or religious classes.”

Does anybody here think madrassa are merely “religious classes”?

  18. KG says:

“Does anybody here think madrassa are merely “religious classes”?”
Well, no, but I’m willing to bet that the vast majority of the sheeple do, thanks to the media.

    • Kris K says:

Once again, why do we let these people into our country?!

      • Octagongrappler says:

This is insane. I dont want to be a conspiracy theorist. But the ethnic and cultural engineering both in NZ and AUS is nothing short of treason!! Why is it allowed to happen and why do all parties want it??

        • KG says:

Because they want to destroy the existing culture. The left because they hate it and want us subjects of the U.N., the right because it will pave the way for the NWO and cheap labour.
We’re to be battery hens–it’s just that most people think it’s still just a conspiracy theory. And they’ll go on thinking that right up until the point it becomes reality.
By then, of course, only old farts will remember freedom.

          • Octagongrappler says:

            KG

I feel better already:) I have believed for awhile that NWO is forced upon us. Why only western countries proves this.

  19. KG says:

And perhaps somewhere like Japan will become a safe haven from it–if only they’ll have us.

    • Octagongrappler says:

Which Is why I cant understand spoonley?? He says we need heaps of asian migrants because our future is in Asia, Yet he does not seem to think all other asian nations need to be multicultural to do business with each other???

  20. The Gantt Guy says:

Quite simply, the best Trifecta I’ve seen. Whittle, Ott and Green are all great commentators, and this episode is them at their best…

  21. Kris K says:

“I dont want to be a conspiracy theorist.”

I’m of the firm belief that many of today’s so called conspiracy theorists are in fact REALISTS who can substatiate their claims on the weight of mountains of evidence. Those who label us as “conspiracy nuts” are the ones who either refuse to see the obvious or else are part of the overarching agenda and who try to silence those who can see through their evil schemes and machinations.

“Conspiracy theorist”, much like “homophobe”, “Islamophobe”, “zenophobe”, “mysogynist” et al, is just another label the evil left haul out in an attempt to discredit their detractors.

    • dondiego says:

I recall seeing Glen Beck on Fox last year saying that- calling people “conspiracy theorists”, when they are proven correct even, was one of the tactics. He quoted some Soros employee.
That’s reminiscent of Goebbels “Big Lie”. -“The truth is, by definition, the enemy of the State”.
