   I hate to tell you guys but we women have you guys figured out.

   First of all we want men, not pussy-whipped boys. I want a man to give up his seat to me on a crowded bus or train. Open my doors. Put the umbrella over MY head not his in a rain storm (That is why you are suppose to wear hats.). Tip his hat to me. Kill those evil spiders. And when I am insulted he is suppose to beat the crap out of the pussy-whipped insulter.

   In return we will not try to change you much. We will feed you meat and potatoes. Keep your beer cold. Wash your clothes, iron your shirts and will not touch your fishing lures and equipment. We will also enjoy the romps in the bedroom (Living room, kitchen, dining room, foyer, etc…) as often as we are able.

   Oh BTW: We will expect you to change diapers though. And maybe teach the kids how to fish, hunt and shoot.

   We also will try not to out shoot you guys on the range. After all you do have an ego to maintain.

     Heh! I’ve never yet been out-shot by a woman on the range and don’t expect to be any time soon, Katie.
     As for “we women have you guys figured out”, I can assure you that very few women do. About the same number of guys who have women figured out, I suspect.
     The typical woman is not as you described yourself.

       The problem is that mothers raise sons as well as daughters, and thus think they have men figured out. But show me the man who claims to understand women simply because he had a daughter.

           I can be pretty safe in saying that we men can pretty much handle anything so long as you women don’t treat us like children and emasculate us.There are a lot of things we need from our girlfriends/wives,mothering isn’t one of them.

           Neither are directions,Christopher Columbus didn’t need directions and neither do we. :rant

   I started reading Poretto’s piece happily prepared for a scrap. but quite honestly, he’s hit the nail squarely. I can’t argue with any of it.

   KG I wish the same thing. Ah well .. I guess that being able to appreciate quality in another’s endeavour is the next best thing to being able to achieve it personally. I can’t sing for shit either.
