Maori have been sold down the river by their “leaders”, who have pushed the illusion that maori can have ‘pride” without achievement to base that pride on–as though brown skin itself ought to be a source of pride.
Still, it’s worked very well as a tool to form a pressure group to lobby government for taxpayer’s money….
