David Solway suggests the Repubs should ask for election observers to oversee the fidelity of the vote. Not because he thinks there will be observers but to watch the Dems explode at the thought they would rig the vote!

So here’s a question, Harvard. Is Blackberry really Da Man about the Whute House? Or is he the downward-facing-dog to Moochelle? Does she strap on a strap-on to her diplomatic pouches on date night?

Let’s face it, we all know how Blackberry was given round-the-world trips and a college education by rich old white dudes, right? So mebbe Moochelle wears the … pants … in the relationship!

  2. KG says:

It’ll never fly–O will simply call his cronies in the DOJ and they’ll charge observers with harassment. Of course, Repubs could always hire blacks with berets and truncheons as ‘observers’…that’d be ok.

    • Ronbo says:

      @KG:

Like Australia, the USA is a HUGE country.

Yes, the Leftists can pretty control the outcome in places like California and New York, however, outside the big urban areas of the coasts, the Left controls very little aside from a city here and there.

Therefore, it would be difficult, if not impossible, for the Left to steal the majority of state elections – and even if they do manage to win the popular vote – the election is determined by the Electoral College.

The only option I see for Obama to win in November is to do something very radical like declare martial law – and this wouldn’t work, he would wake up on the day after the election with a million rifles pointed at the White House.

My best guess on the coming CW II is that the Left will rise in revolt when they realize their days as the dominant power in the country is ending…I’m thinking that the election of Romney as president will be as unacceptable to them as the election of Lincoln was to the ruling class Southern aristocrats in 1860.

I wish I could give everyone a timeline on when this will all unfold…we all could make a fortune in bets. But seriously, I do see dark clouds of civil war on the horizon.

      • KG says:

How do you see the role of the National Guard, Ronbo?

        • Ronbo says:

If the video you posted is a guide – It would appear he who has keys to the NG armory arms the veterans who become the new National Guard.

It could play out that way – also, if it comes to the succession of states from the Union, then the various governors become the CIC of the new state militia.

In the months leading up to the start of CW I, the states who left the Union seized not only the government armories, but the federal bases in those states.

And this was accomplished peacefully EXCEPT for one particular fort in South Carolina…

But as I’ve said before, my best guess is that CW II will start in the next few years after the patriots win the November election and I don’t think the insurrection will involve states leaving the Union, but will be a “rat war” of assassinations, bombings and small unit warfare largely in the urban areas like we have seen in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The big factor I see is manpower. If the Left decides on insurrection (Believe it or not – hardcore Leftists make up less than 10% of the USA population) they simply to do not have the military muscle to form large tactical units.

This guy explains it better than me:

          http://www.newcriterion.com/articles.cfm/Future-tense–X–The-fourth-revolution-7395

I have posted this link before, but some of you may have missed it.

The bottom line is that America – and the world – is standing at the starting point in a whole new historical cycle.

And we – brothers and sisters of the planet – are the vanguard, the advanced scouts who see the promised land from the high ground.

  3. Al says:

The tragedy is that around 50% of Americans will vote for Obama come hell or high water.
The mendicants and the hustlers and the Statists have their candidate……the coming Hispanic majority will also then demand its own racially qualified candidate.

The only way forward for American constitutionalists maybe secession and a new nation formed with like minded states.

    • KG says:

“The only way forward for American constitutionalists maybe secession and a new nation formed with like minded states.”
      I think that’s true.

      • Darin says:

I figure since the red states control pretty much all the oil and agriculture we should wait until winter and then starve/freeze them out

Of course our northern and west coast allies would have to be evacuated before we drive the Libs into the ocean.

        • West Coast allies-that would be me- let me know : – )
          C-CS

          • Ronbo says:

            @CS:

Do you have a plan to get off the West Coast?

I think you are behind the lines.

One of the better patriot organizations out this way is the group at Kalispell, Montana.

The only problem is that winter lasts about nine months up there.

      • Ronbo says:

        @KG:

I do know for a fact that patriots have begun a movement into certain areas of the Northwest and are in the process of taking control of the local governments by the ballot box, and there are countless armed militia groups all over the country.

If civil war breaks out in the USA, I think the general plan is for patriots to move into the south, southwest and the mountains of the northwest.

If this happens, one could expect Leftists to be thrown out of the patriot areas and move into the Northeast and West Coast.

This would be very good news for the patriots, since the Leftist strong points would be isolated on the coasts and they could be defeated one at a time.

Yes, there could be secession of up to 25 states (including Alaska) to form a new Confederacy in the Heartland if patriots fail to gain control of the federal government in November.

Of course, if the Republicans sweep into power in November and ALL branches of the federal government falls into the lap of the Right, the insurrection will be started by the Left, because rebellion will be the only way they can return to power.

The wild card is the military and if experience is a teacher, the regular forces will join up with their respective sides, but we can believe that the majority of troops will rally to the patriot side.

        • KG says:

“..but we can believe that the majority of troops will rally to the patriot side.”
I sure hope you’re right, Ronbo. I’m pretty sure the police in major urban areas would follow O and the DOJ’s directives though.

          • The Gantt Guy says:

It’s quite conceivable that if TSHTF the military will (mostly) side wi patriots while the apparatus of the police state (fed police, USDA, EPA, etc.) will side against the people.

I really believe if the numbers look bad for Zero, the election will be cancelled (or the result nullified, if voting has already occurred) and martial law declared in order to keep Zero in power.

      • Cadwallader says:

The problem with cecession is that the new state created needs to be economically viable. I record that in 1935 Western Australia held a poll on this very issue. The vote required a 65% tick in favour of cecession but about 60% was achieved. While there was/is mineral wealth in WA there is a paucity of divergent economic activity to render the state truly wealthy. The need for divergent economic activity is now being realised in NZ with an upsurge in interest in mining. (Despite eco-loons opposing it!) In Canada the Quebecois have repeatedly exhibited an interst in cecession but for essentially economic reasons it hasn’t flown.

I suppose instead of another bloody civil war we could just smash the machine that prints thier checks

  6. Oswald Bsatable says:

Coming to a town near you soon…

  7. KG says:

We can hope….but if it comes to small American towns, I’m willing to bet the militarized SWAT teams will be on the scene within minutes–and most residents will lock themselves in their homes instead of supporting the protesters.

    • Darin says:

I dunno KG,in places like the central states the towns are small and few and far between, those would most likely be ignored.

The rest of the country is either empty,or like it is here where I am at.The towns here are 20-30 miles apart, average 15-25,000 people about 60% of which own at least one gun.The surrounding county is covered by a cobweb network of roads, rivers and streams and about 80% wooded. An additional 15-20,000 people are dispersed in those areas and the gun ownership increases to about 80%.Every 80-100 miles is a larger city of maybe 50-150,000 people, lower gun ownership, but most folks are still level headed and blue collar.
When we factor in that an area from Texas to Florida up north to North Carolina and across to Oklahoma is where the bulk of the military calls home things look pretty good. Most of the local law enforcement is Teaparty or leans heavily right and if not they are smart enough to pick the right side in a fight.

I’m not to worried about that,Americans invented insurgent warfare,we will remember what we forgot quick.

What I am worried about is a wild card, two of them.
      #1 Our own nuclear arsenal
#2 Interference from a foreign power

Ann Barnhart has on her blog the theory that the Chinese will seize the opertunity during a SHTF moment and invade the west coast. They wouldn’t dare normally since we have enough Nukes to wipe the Earth clean of them, but remember if Obama is re-elected he told the Russian pres that he would be “more flexible”then, meaning bye-bye nuclear deterrent and leaving the gate open for whoever.

  8. The Gantt Guy says:

Why it *has* to be Col. Allen West for VEEP:

On the SCOTUS decision, he says “I believe everyone should have to go out and buy a Glock 9mm. And if you don’t, we’ll tax you. Let’s see how the liberals feel about that.”

    http://www.trevorloudon.com/2012/07/allen-west-every-american-should-have-to-go-out-and-buy-a-glock-9mm/

The good guys should take a leaf out of the democrat playbook. Get all your dead relatives to vote early, and vote often!

    • oswald bastable says:

What a terrible thing to say!

      Should have said .40!

(that’s what the dead homeland security types will have on them)

      • The Gantt Guy says:

Actually that’s something I didn’t factor in to my comment elsewhere (about the coming “troubles” and which side the military and the various weaponised branches of the federal administration will fall). For most of the administration types, if they’ve ever taken their toys out of the box, they still wouldn’t have had to use them. Mostly they use their ID card as a weapon.

When it comes right down to it, will the clipboard-carriers have what it takes to use their pointy, hurty toys against the American people? Will they (or the vast majority of them) have what it takes to squeeze and have the lead actually come out the end with the hole in it, when there’s a fellow-citizen in the sights?

  9. pinkofreezone says:

  10. Contempt says:

Watched “Atlas Shrugged” a recent movie over the Fourth. Good and easier than reading a book, at least for me now.

Seems that there is a slow boil occurring among some folks.

  11. oswald bastable says:

THIS clip is why the troops were not brought home- nor will be anytime soon.

    Fuck Obama.

    • The Gantt Guy says:

Yep. Step 1: hollow out the military. Step 2: send what remains to Syria.

  12. MikeH. says:

My health sucks and I’m not getting any younger. Lets do it while I can still hold a position on the front lines.

  13. KG says:

“My health sucks and I’m not getting any younger. Lets do it while I can still hold a position on the front lines.”
Same here, Mike. I’d hate it to happen sometime after I could contribute my 2c worth.

  14. Al says:

The aim of Govt is your dependency.
Those dependent on govt for cheques in the mail, subsidies, health care and food today do not upset the hand that feeds them.

The aim of much Legislation is to ensure everyone has committed / can be deemed to have committed some “offence”, the great power of govt is to be able to decide who to prosecute and who to ignore. Therein lies control.

Both Parties would rather cut off a limb than criminalise Congressmen accepting money from paid Lobbyists. Don’t think Romney isn’t just another Statist. Don’t think Ron Paul is anything more than uncle doofus, with some fine ideas but with nil gravitas. Either would be preferable to Obama.

Here’s a tip, draft John Howard.

    • The Gantt Guy says:

Absolutely, Al. Democrats, Liberals, even Co,munists are not the enemy. They are merely the Palace Guard. Politicians are the enemy.

Even the much-vaunted John Howard succumbed to the pressure of bribing the middle classes with their own money (having said that, he is without doubt Australia’s best Prime Minister in half a century).

IMHO, the desire of a person to enter politics is the very characteristic that should prevent them from doing so.

      • Al says:

Yeah, we call it the ‘control gene’ around here.
If you haven’t got it, you can barely believe it exists.

        • The Gantt Guy says:

Anyone with experience of the world over a period of more than, say, 15 minutes couldn’t help but notice the existence of a control gene. Look at what the freaks have done over even such a short period as 10 years. In NZ, the size of government has doubled over the past decade. In Australia and the US the period of destruction has been even shorter.

Anyone entering politics, or any job where the uniform is a Hi-Viz Vest and clipboard, ought to be taken out the back and shot.

  15. KG says:

“Anyone entering politics, or any job where the uniform is a Hi-Viz Vest and clipboard, ought to be taken out the back and shot.”
