Idiot “science”

No wonder the Greens can fool so many young people, so much of the time:
‘SCIENCE is about attaining factual knowledge that can explain, in a systematic way, the world around us.
It hinges on the scientific method of observing, theorising and testing predictions through experiments and analysis. The basis of science is measuring results to establish facts.
…….Yet as national education correspondent Justine Ferrari has revealed today, the Queensland Studies Authority syllabus for Year 11 and 12 students describes science as a “social and cultural activity” that can explain the world through “mental constructions based on personal experiences”…’

    It seems they’ve mixed up the heading for “Science” with the text for “Social Studies”!

    FFS This really pisses me off. Science was described by the truly clever Carl Sagan as the “skeptical interrogation of the universe.” The infusion of culture into the exercise defies rational thought and independent analysis. How can children really grow into rational beings when they get this “cultural” dimension tossed at them?

      Unreal, isn’t it? Practically everything they use and enjoy–including their longevity and good health – is built on science and the “teachers” are bent on destroying it!

    The greens ideology is an emotional and sometimes fashionable one, it appeals to the immature, stupid and lazy. That’s why it finds easy acceptance among the young in the west and some old ones who are simply too stupid to know otherwise.

    It also has a totalitarian – for the greater good – streak in it that appeals to the cleverer ones angling for power. The greens are the biggest and worst anvil among the left holding the western world back.
