Going bush

tomorrow morning, to do a job on a big, remote cattle station. No ‘phone, no internet, no gas station or store. No anything much, in fact. So Gantt will be both the Hammer of God for trolls and your genial host. Not sure how long I’ll be away.

      Forget it? Hell no! That’d be to ignore at least two of the major food groups, Mawm. ;-)
      Mind you, whether I’ll be in fit shape to drink it after working out in the cold and the dust and then the heat from dawn ’til dark is another question…… :lol:

        I know just how you feel. At least it is outdoors with a bunch of blokes. The beer sounds like the right thing to clear the dust at the end of a hard days work. :cheers

    OT – as predicted the Waitangi Tribunal has once again shown its absolute lack of bias in their recommendation just released.
    It said selling shares in state assets before the Tribunal delivered its full findings could “cause a significant disadvantage to [Maori] claimants” if their claims were subsequently found to be well-founded.
    Any bets on how long it’ll take for Key to give in? :popcorn

      Why don’t you Anglo-Saxons in New Zealand just cut to the endgame and get hell out, and give back the most beautiful islands in the South Pacific to the barbarians…err…Maori?

      After all, the last time they had complete control of the islands they did a real bang up job what with human sacrifice, endless tribal wars, cannibalism, incest, murder and the tyranny of the chiefs. Why old NZ was a barbarian paradise just like Hawaii in the old days where life was short, nasty and very brutal!

      Meanwhile, let the last of the great Anglo Saxon civilized nation gather together on the plains of Montana, and do a 21st century version of Custer’s Last Stand, as all the barbarians of the world come at us from all directions, and we die fighting with our boots on!

        He sure is, Darin. I saw Carl Rove the other day spouting some crap about how Palin was the wrong choice for McCain in 2008. Like Whittle says, every single vote for McCain/Palin was a vote for Palin, not McCain. And it’s sick the RINO establishment don’t recognise that fact.
