    Wow….and to think I was prescribed Exeffer ( an anti-depressant ).I wondered why I thought of suicide so much. When my missus and I broke up I decided to get off the shit because I knew something bad was happening to me. I was in a gaming clan ( American ) in the day and one of the guys said to me to get off the stuff as he’d been told the after effects .Strange how my doctor never told me about the after effects. Since then my life has been so much more rewarding and I don’t think of topping myself any more.

      Effexor – a serotonin and noradrenalin (that’s norepinephrine for the Yanqui’s) reuptake inhibitor. Nasty stuff this group of drugs as they alter the synaptic connections in your brain, but it works very well in some people with severe clinical depression. It is so freely prescribed that it’s like having half of America on LSD – all the time. :cheers

        :shock: LSD might be safer. At least it’s fun, and I never felt homicidal it in my miss-spent yoof when taking it..

        The strange thing was , when I first started taking it it calmed my mood swings but eventually it took control. The feeling I got when I raged was like a high as I could feel it get stronger the more anger I had. Terrible shit , that stuff.

    Go to any elementary school in the US and watch the children line up to be drugged by the school. Ritalin is the drug of choice for the schools. They will refuse a student to go to the school if they are not on it and it doesn’t help one bit.

    I’m cross posting this at Monkey in the Middle. It needs to be viewed by every lawmaker.

      Obviously it’s the cars to blame for this!Oh why must these Gaia raping neandrathals have cars with so many wheels on them!Four wheels aren’t needed for picking up vegtables from the collective produce exchange!When will we demand these people be licensced?Why do they make these automatics that can shift two,three,four times a minute?Shouldn’t there be some sort of restriction on the size of the accelerator pedal?Maybe they should be banned!Bwhaaaaaahaaaaaahaaaaaa!

    Here’s a story about “Dicks Gun Stores” who have stopped selling guns after California legislators threatened to “divest” all gun selling companies of their pension funds.

    WTF does that mean?

    I must admit there is a lot of truth in this one… But I suspect there is more to it than drugs. USA had 50 m abortions since Roe v Wade. The God of Israel as been denigrated to the point of being an urban myth. Society has lost discipline and respect…..crime is not punished, egalitarianism, multi-culturalism and the whole 9 yards of new age thinking. I think we are seeing a multi-stranded thing. Why does’t Switzerland have this problem? I suspect the gun lobby will have to rethink this one very carefully….
    Gee, I am having a rifle re-barrelled and dollied up as we speak!
    We are off to Southern Africa for 3 weeks……I will pass your regards to uncle Bob M over a cup of tea…
