And may he rest in peace. Perhaps somebody, somewhere, will give Col. John Boyd the credit he deserves for the warfighting doctrine used so successfully by Schwarzkopf.

Good article,IIRC he was also the first one to point out the AF mistaken thinking that after Korea guns on aircraft were obsolete.Early experience in Vietnam with the F4 proved Boyd right.
