Then why are there eleven guns guarding the elite school his daughters go to? (and no, they’re not there merely because the President’s daughters attend the school. It’s school policy, regardless.)  Obviously, the elite are entitled to a higher standard of protection than the children of mere subjects.

      Excellent reasoning, if a little optimistic. There will be a lot of bloody and misery among patriots as well.
      But still, far, far better than creeping slavery.
