    There is no truth to the Internet myth that Washington budget cuts have taken away breakfast for service members in Afghanistan, Defense Department officials said.
    Americans serving in Afghanistan can have up to four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and a midnight meal, if one is needed.

      Funny. My neighbor received quite a few emails from his son in Afghanistan telling his father and mother that breakfast is not served, nor are MREs.

      The man just sent him a package with cereals, powdered milk, and breakfast bars.

      I have Oswald and I’d rather eat cardboard.

      No breakfasts are being served, not even MREs. The poor guys (and gals) go without food until lunch (if lucky).

      Rumor among the troops is that the military will enforce the Ramadan fast on the troops this year. They are really wanting an mutiny.

    There have been many such instances before,everything from toothpaste and soap to clean clothes.Parents and siblings as well as complete strangers have picked up the slack and have been doing it for the last three years.

    This administration and the Dem party are the same ones that delay and stall the military vote every election.

    Big difference between ‘cooked breakfast’ and MRE. Especially if you are at the sharp end.
