The Brits are coming…

SPECAUS20130205 ‘Having spent much of the 19th century shipping their snaggle-toothed criminals and deviants Down Under, the great and good of Great Britain have always looked upon Oz as a land of ill-mannered, uncultured grunts of the worst possible breeding. Now, they plan to do something about it, to civilise you offspring of convicts. The most goodly portion of the great and good — none other than the Guardian newspaper, reading material of choice of right-thinking, latte-loving Britons — is venturing to Australia to give you all a good talking-to. Expect stern lectures about your racism, misogyny, daftness, drunkenness, and most of all your crazy, crazy climate change denial…’        source
Just what we need–another leftard rag, this one from a country they’ve helped consign to the trash heap. In our crude Aussie vernacular…fuck off!  When we want lectures from effete, sandal-wearing forelock-tugging semi- shielas, we’ll tell you what to say. Until then, go root  a corgi or something.

  1. Leftism is the state religion of Britain and like all religions, its success in the world is largely dependent on it’s recruiting techniques. The term ‘propaganda’ first appeared in 1622 when Pope Gregory XV established the Sacred Congregation for Propagating the Faith. The Guardian is one of the prime propaganda instruments.

  2. “The Guardian is one of the prime propaganda instruments.”
It sure is. And it’ll find a receptive audience here in Oz among the same type of fuckwits who read it in Britain.

  3. Well that’s the Brits for you – looking down their long authoritarian noses at us “uneducated colonials” in places like Australia and America.

I guess we just didn’t get on the same page with their theory that the mother country got 90% of everything produced – and we colonists should be damn grateful the Royal Governor left us with 10%. After all, the King would defend us from foreign invaders.

The Brits called this theory, “Mercantilism.”

So today the snake oil the Brits are trying to sell us colonials is socialism by way of propaganda rags like the “Guardian.”

Like the French say, “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

  4. (Insert Grounds Keeper Willie voice)See Australia, see what happens when you give up your gons! Eye Ya get invaded by a bunch of lite in their Loafers skirt wearin poodle walkers!

  5. Britain’s largest export to NZ at this time are effete, adnoidal, consumerist, soft-left bedwetters with a strong, but ill-found, sense of their innate cultural superiority over the colonials who are invariably named Martin and Helen. Soft handed poodle walkers defined.

Of course they have no bone-deep commitment to NZ or Aussie since they are economic and social refugees in search of lifestyle and sun bankrolled by the proceeds of a property boom house sale that makes it possible for them to acquire a Skyline MacMansion overlooking the seaside. Unfortunately however they are infected with the virus that made the land of their birth a corrupt, dysfunctional, morally and economically bankrupt multicultural shithole.

    • I’m sure that they will fit in just fine in New Zealand. Apart from their brayed out vowels they will be no different to the local “pakeha”.

      • Yes, and a good few of them will find work in the state-owned media. I recall Lindsay Perigo referring to some at National Radio (read: Radio Red) as “pommunists.”

    • They also posess the world championship in ‘clip board carrying annyoing scum’, you just feel like giving a Liverpool Kiss to…

  6. True enough, Mawm, in all too many instances. Same here, in certain parts of Oz.

    • I find it hard to believe that the Guardian could be any more patronising to Australians than it already is to the British. I also find it hard to believe that it could make the land of Julia Gillard any more left wing!

  7. The “land of Juliar Gillard” isn’t really left-wing at all, Steve. There’s a band of voters in the high-density areas around the coast which is a mixture of real left-wingers and welfare bludgers but that’s not representative of the country as a whole.
