Leeches

this is how it works
Hard times are never for the ruling bureaucrat class. Taxpayer’s hard-earned money (and the years of their lives spent earning it) are of no consequence to these effing parasites.
It amazes me–for all the rhetoric about “belt tightening” and “prioritizing spending”, there’s a class which is all but immune to such things, yet people rarely get angry about having years of their lives stolen to pay for this. It’s all very well getting annoyed about money being wasted on welfare cheats, but what about those who enable and encourage it? Not only that, the same people tie us down with ever-increasing petty regulations to the point where we, the people who earn the money, have to grovel as supplicants before shiny arsed little nazis in order to simply live our lives.
If the whole thing collapses, these bastards will have nowhere to run, despite their “I was only following orders” and “sorry, that’s the policy” excuses.

On top of it all there is the largest “hidden tax” of all – the devaluation of your money through inflation which is used by these scum our politicians to hide the myriad of bad decisions and promises made to ensure re-election. So you work a lifetime (and pay excessive tax) to pay your own way and save so as not to be dependent on anybody during retirement ………… and suddenly your $ is only buying half of what it used to.

To pay for Obama’s and the EU’s spending we are going to have to go through a period of hyperinflation again ……………and our $ (Aus and Kiwi) will have to be devalued to make our exports competative. It will hit each and everyone of us, but those approaching retirement will not have time to benefit from the wage inflation and those already on a fixed income will be impoverished. /rant http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

“Don’t shoot me, citizen I was only following orders!”

This defense did not work well at Numenburg.

When I was an employee of a local government there was a new library that was getting ready to open. The County Supervisor, who was an elected official, wanted to make a statement and to curry political favor. He had the Director of Libraries throw a shin dig to mark the opening and he wanted only invited guests at the affair. He had him draw up guest list after guest list because he wouldn’t tell him who he wanted to invite so that he could deny that he had any input as to the guests invited. The poor Director spent weeks trying to appease the Supervisor until he finally got the OK on the final list.

The party was a sight to behold. The major donors to the Supervisor’s campaigns were there, State officials were there, and of course the Supervisor and his family were there. There was fine food and if you had to park blocks away your car was protected by security tasked with watching your automobile and you need not worry about walking because transportation had been set up to provide a comfortable way to the festivities and back. It would have been glorious if not for the fact that taxpayer money paid for it all.

Did I mention that this was during a period of shrinking budgets and a hiring freeze at said local government? That budgets had to be cut 5% across the board? Did I also mention that the County elected officials and the County Manager’s staff took a trip to the elegant and esteemed Homestead for a retreat during that same time frame?

Politicians never worry about tax payer dollars because they are an endless source of revenue to curry political favor, to enjoy the finer things in life, and for making yourself feel important. Trust me, when a politician opens his mouth about “saving taxpayer dollars” he is really just pissed off because he got left out of the fun.

Inflation the theft no one much is talking about, especially the MSM. It has averaged 8% over the last 10 years. America is much worse, which is why our dollar looks relatively high in comparison. Great news, the economy has grown 1.5 percent, only based on the inflation caused by fractional reserve banking. What a load of bull.
    Mike.

Just so, Mike. But the whole thing is just too complicated for the lo-info voters to get their heads around, which is why governments can get away with it.
      Bastards.

    Ain’t that the truth!

Multiply that story by a hundred thousand or so per annum, and it gives some idea of the sheer scale of the waste, doesn’t it?

  7. Redbaiter says:

That bitch Gillard has to go this time.

Not that Krudd is any fucking real improvement.

  8. KG says:

We’ll know after 4:30 this afternoon. Personally, I hope Gillard wins, because she’ll lead Labor to a huge defeat.

    Gillard wins. Good!

    A rant …..
what is pissing me off right now; is that in the late 80’s, we were “informed” that we needed heaps of immigrants to sustain economic growth to pay for our retirement.
so tons of butt useless flooded in ..result: need houses, infrastructure ,services and all sorts of government assisted garbage and trimmings..hmm WE paid for it .[and the clever ones jumped through the back door to Aus with a cheap education…leaving state dependent Mum and Dad here]
NOW…..”sorry”[no ,their not].. we imported all this crap in, but we need to support their retirement ,so You need to pay for your own as there won’t be any $ left.
What is gutting me is the MSM barking the same line & ignoring the past ,the ~ 35 years of huge taxes I paid ….[which indirectly]put these MSM fuckwits thru university for free.
And the tone is what gets me..practically condescending that “I” shouldn’t be entitled to anything.

    • KG says:

nominto, if I were to write a rant on this, it’d read almost exactly as you’ve put it. I can’t express how pissed off I am.

      • nominto says:

        cheers…
seems that people like us who actually work for a living [producing the useful necessities for life] are being relegated to the Morlock class….truth is stranger than fiction.
