The latest Woodpile Report is up

Remus has some thoughts on the damage caused by the outrageous Marbury v. Madison ruling of 1803, and quotes Mike Vanderboegh on the subject of saving the Republic:
‘…But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later. We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory.
And it could well be that no matter how long the odds, if we but have the will, we can and shall win…’

    I’m glad someone besides me has written on this subject – the bottom line is that the U.S. Supreme Court SEIZED THE AUTHORITY to be the last word on matters constitutional.

    WE THE PEOPLE are the LAST word, and if we had the balls to conduct a decent REVOLUTION and shot the tyrants in black robes – maybe the next bunch of judges would get the message on who is the boss in the Republic and who has the last word.
