The Rev Jones planned merely to burn a book, so the violence obviously would come from those objecting to him exercising a right under the Constitution. It’s difficult to see the actions of the police and the state as anything other than punitive and in this they’re acting as the agents of the primitives bent on destroying the West and her institutions.
