  1. 80km/h is about the best speed to travel most of these roads, since there are some nasty surprises in places. And any faster is no good for spotting pigs anyway.

    • We don’t eat them, Contempt. Nobody out here does.
In NZ I used to like smoked wild pork and we were hoping to smoke some of these, but they’re full of parasites.

  2. Question: What is the difference between a Methodist and a Baptist? A Methodist will speak to you coming out of the liquor store.

  3. Gee, thanks, Robert…..
I’m beginning to think that if I ever visit Europe again it will be to survey the ruins.

  4. Heard on the John Boy and Billy radio show: Girl so fat when she sits on a quarter George Washington farts. Girl so fat that it takes two trips to haul ass.

Wish I could remember the others. This is my favorite little strange yellow thing:

  5. This is mine:
Got the permit for the Winchester .243 this morning. Yaaay! Now I just have to drive nearly 400km to collect it…..

  6. ‘A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted in Adelaide after being dragged into a car which had a baby capsule in the rear seat.
…The man is described as being 20 to 30 years of age, with dark skin, eyes and hair…’
Obviously, one of those savage Scottish Presbyterians.

    • “34 year old car jacking suspect that was shot by police”

See, the catalytic burnout system does save the environment

      • Sounds like the ambulance had a system called “AdBlue”
Adblue is a fluid made from Urea and purified water that is injected into the exhaust upstream of an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system to reduce NOx emissions from diesel engines.
However, if something goes wrong it can result in reduced power, shut down or failure to start due to low adblue levels in your tank. Seen on new trucks in NZ and Australia (and some euro cars). Just another eco-wacko solution to a problem that should not exist.
Get used to reading about more problems like this. there is even an industry called “MinusBlu”, which will take it off your truck.

    • Interesting stuff, don-d. VERY interesting stuff. Thanks for the link.
