Yeah the movie is pretty good too.
Evidently there was a legal problem with using the name Rocket Boys so the called it October Sky, which is an anagram of the former.
Catches the spirit of the book.

If those kids did anything like what they did then,there would guidance counselors,psychiatrists,the ATF and DHS involved.
