“Culturally enriched”?

The ignorance and arrogance of the clowns who claim that importing goat-herders from primitive backwaters, the adherants of  a retarded, murderous ideology somehow enriches our culture, amazes me.
White New Zealanders, for example, are routinely lectured about how some grass-skirted, tattooed fat oaf, prancing around and sticking his tongue out, the recent descendant of cannibals, belongs to a culture that deserves “respect” and deference.
Yet those white people are the descendants of people who built great universities, libraries and cathedrals a thousand years ago. Who built magnificent clipper ships and aeroplanes – and rockets that took men to the moon.
Who developed manufacturing techniques and medical advances and an economic system which improved the lives of countless people.
I refuse to show respect to somebody whose greatest contribution to our societies is to open a kebab shop in Melbourne or a car re-birthing racket in Western Sydney or killing their own children at a staggering rate.

    Well said. The problem is, there are two may people who think all cultures are equal, and whose idea of redistributing the wealth means sharing the depravity.

    Slightly off topic, but related in a way. About fifteen years ago I was reading about some tribes in the jungles of South America, who live in tree houses, and practice cannibilism. At night they have to pull the rope ladders up into their tree houses so the neighbouring tribes don’t sneak in when they’re asleep, and kill them so they can eat them. I was astonished that this type of thing was still happening in the 20th Century. However, the thrust of the article was that these people and their lifestyle were under threat from modern development, and we needed to preserve this unique culture. FFS! We don’t need cannibals, and if they die out, then so what? We can go and teach them that cannibalism is wrong, and it is disgusting, etc, but if they take the attitude of the Maori, in the 19th Century, that the white man was the one in the wrong, and they won’t be told who to eat by anyone, then what? I would not regard the demise of a cannibal race as any kind of tragedy.

    Agreed – no respect from here either.
    I have nothing but the most vicious disgust, hatred, contempt and revulsion towards koranimals. I **DESPISE** them *and* the leftwing fools who support them.

    The Germans in WWII were evil but even *they* had a certain amount of chivalry, for what that’s worth – I remember that an Allied navalman (he may have been an Australian) was awarded a medal on the recommendation of one of his German foes in a battle. None of the Allies survived that battle.

      Thor, this sounds like the case of F/O Lloyd Trigg, a New Zealand airman awarded a posthumous VC in 1943 on the recommendation of the German officer whose submarine Trigg had attacked and sunk.
      All VCs have to be recommended by an officer but a recommendation by an enemy officer (presumably this was never anticipated) makes this VC award unique.

      He was a Liberator pilot (the name escapes me) and the posthumous VC was awarded on the recommendation of the captain of the U Boat he attacked. The bomber crew were all killed but I recall the U boat crew used one of the bomber liferafts that popped to the surface.
