‘Will Australia choose to go to war in Syria?’
These clowns have been murdering one another for centuries, and will continue to murder one another no matter how much blood and treasure the West gets fooled into pouring into the region.
All the trillions of western dollars that have been paid for oil have advanced Arabs not one millimetre down the road to civilisation, and I’m damned if I can see why one more Western soldier should die or be maimed for the benefit of these murderous bastards.
Let them kill one another, in greater numbers the better.

    Obviously since news reports are still making it out they aren’t using enough.

    I say,save the children under five and kill all the adults.The kids didn’t ask for this and can be saved,the adults made their bed,now the need to lay in it.

    Also did I hear right in a news blurb today that several European governments were wondering when “WE” aka Americans were going to do something? It sounded snotty,arrogant and condescending so naturally I assumed Eurolibs.

    Rumor from Israel is that Assad didn’t do this. The rebels also have Chemical Weapons and what better way to get the West to fight for them than to use them and claim Assad did it.

    I think there’s an insight in there that’s been badly overlooked — perhaps deliberately. Money, of course, does not by itself confer any of the virtues. Indeed, to acquire money without effort might prevent the acquisition of the civilizing virtues. We’ve seen a number of examples of that effect.

    The Middle East is a swarm of ignorant savages, a few of whom are very, very rich owing to the development of the region’s easily-accessed oil resources by industrious Westerners. The rich ones did not earn their wealth and do not deserve it. Moreover, they know it. The poor ones are fatally infected with envy, both of the rich ones and of the foreign powers that made them rich without effort. It’s a recipe for hatred and violence, especially among a people who believe, for religious reasons, that it’s their destiny to rule the world.

    Wealth without work has never civilized anyone. Mix in the racism, xenophobia, and inherent violence of Islam, and we get the consequences upon us.

    The money hasn’t produced great educational institutions, spurred industrial research, given Arab youths technical skills and jobs to lift them out of poverty…the list goes on.
    The most lethal enemy Arabs face is their own rulers.
    I don’t for a minute think wealth per se confers civilized values, but it sure as hell ought to help set a country down that path.

      I predict that this decades long rise of Muslim terrorism will pan out in the end to be nothing more than part of the long death agony of the ancient Islamic Barbarism that cannot long survive contact with the advanced technology of the 21st century.

      Yes, I know that mine is a minority opinion in the Crusader Rabbit parliament, but as a former Military Intelligence analyst I was trained to look at the complete picture of the opposition forces, and not just focus on his propaganda and that of the Lamestream Media, which portrays our Islamic enemy as being ten feet high.
