    Interesting thoughts and very, very good advice, Francis. Thanks for that.
    A very large consideration is the fact that those who would do harm to innocent people are almost certainly going to have had a lot more practice in those kinds of situations than Henry from the office down the hallway.
    Most men are warriors in their own minds, the only ones who know for sure if it’s true are those who have been there – and come back. And those men know how thin the margin between survival and failure really is. They avoid street combat if possible.

    And if you can’t carry a gun when out in public, ALWAYS carry a good quality folding pocket knife. “Just going to the local store” is no excuse not to carry it.
    Not some wanker “combat” knife that will likely turn out to be made in Taiwan.
    Wabbit has a German Puma, expensive but worth it. Get used to the thing, using it for anything from cleaning your nails to opening cartons, but use it. When cornered is not the right time to find out that the damn lock is unreliable, is it?
