    As far as I can tell, it is a tradition that Europeans are offered the opportunity to own firearms as civilians if they choose. That in addition to the simple joys of the hunt or target shoot. It is a sign of mutual respect and trust between citizens.

    Relinquishing that tradition is an admission of societal failure. The responsibility for that failure rests with our “leaders”, or more vassals.

    No mention either that every mass shooter in US history since 1972 IIRC was taking anti-depressants and psychotropics when they wigged out.

    He didn’t mention that someone,sometime ago thought it inhumane to keep under lock and key those among us who are a danger to themselves and society in general.So we threw open the doors of the asylum and here we are,walking among ticking time bombs.

    He didn’t mention that todays school children if they act up,mis-behave or are the least bit hyperactive are pushed into line and fed ADD drugs like candy.These same kids who if they are black,have no fathers and if they are white are bullied,emasculated and broken into submission.

    He also didn’t mention that the UK,Australia and New Zealand all had historically low levels of murder before gun control and massive increases in violent crime after.If one does a little digging deeper than the headlines report we can see that even though the US does have a higher murder rate,our violent crime rates are 2-3 times LOWER than the aforementioned countries.

    A little inconvenient truth never hurts,unless you are a lefty journorat.
