From today’s The Australian newspaper:
‘PUBLIC servants are drawing up plans to collapse 33 climate change schemes run by seven departments and eight agencies into just three bodies run by two departments under a substantial rewrite of the administration of carbon abatement schemes under the Coalition.
Coalition climate action spokesman Greg Hunt briefed public servants on the dramatic restructure of the federal climate change bureaucracy before the election was called and yesterday confirmed the Coalition was committed to proceeding with the plan…’
Who knows – with luck, hundreds of Labor apparatchiks will soon be looking for real jobs in the real world.

    Here’s an idea. Why doesn’t the “Syrian opposition” (read, islamist assholes) make money by – you know – WORKING for a living and buy it’s own fucking airforce, instead of yet again demanding that the West use Western taxpayer’s money to further the agenda of primitive murderers?
    They can take their demands and insert them where they belong.

    With any luck Australia’s climate change offices will be reduced to a janitors closet,stuffed with old solar panels and Al Gore pinup calenders. :mrgreen:

    It’s a start but they should really scrap the lot.

    Anyway – I can’t WAIT to see the first illegal-immigrant boat being turned around by the Navy (due to the new policy). I hope they get that policy in place ASAP.
