‘MEN are perfectly capable of helping around the house, even if women don’t always realise it, writes Angela Mollard.’
I’d like to write an article saying women are perfectly capable of doing all the things men do, but that wouldn’t be true, would it?
And if women “don’t always realise it”, how thick does that make them?

Of course they are. Who would open our jars and kill the spiders?

And people wonder why I don’t get married.

 You could get lucky, like some of us here, Darin. But is it worth the gamble? It took me two previous attempts….

I dunno, the pickings are slim.Dad used to say women are like cars, they quit making good ones in 1937(year my mother was born)I believe him to be right.

98% of these new model ones are self-centered,selfish and spoiled, most of the 2% left are spoken for.

I’m sure te new mayor of Christchurch shares Ms Mollard but with her history of truth issues Lianne Dalziel probably would not admit it.

So true. I can do anything my wife can around the house thanks to my air force Dad having these skills to pass on. She hasn’t a clue about the car maintenance, chainsaws, ride on, building etc…

I’m kind of grumpy watching the world go to hell in a hand cart but she still knows she’s loved and respected.
