‘A popular jazz band named Shokaboza that “blends jazz and old school funk, with a West African beat” has just been told by Hampshire College in Massachusetts that it is “too white” to be allowed to perform a scheduled Halloween party gig on campus…’
Seems some people there are concerned about what they term “cultural appropriation”. Well, if that’s now a big no-no, I’d suggest that the blacks who have appropriated parts of white, hispanic and oriental culture cease and desist. (Which of course would leave them hunting frogs with spears and living in caves….)
Some appropriate Italian culture.

oops! New IOS. Please change.
Done!
And you probably wanna ditch the fruit for some ‘puter equipment, donchya think?
Nah! Just operator error. It would have been the same if I had been using the soft-cock option and they had actually changed anything in their OS.
I’d like to see a clip on Italian road rules.

My favourite scene and character from the original Gumball Rally.
I wonder how Hampshire College would explain this? That the victims are at fault for being too white?

Good link, Michael.
Just one minor point though…you obviously didn’t get the memo:
The blacks doing this are the victims, not the whites injured and killed by them, ok?
You know KG, there are times you push sarcasm to the limit!
Where does this shit end? The New Guinea Army has its own bagpipe band, consisting of big, black men in kilts, playing the bagpipes. Personally I think this is great, but would these whining shitstains look down their noses at that example of “cultural appropriation”?
I doubt it, Phil. It’s merely another academic buzz-phrase used to bash whitey and make leftards in academia feel righteous.
Great stuff.
Where will it all end, if our academic betters don’t stamp it out, eh?
Assholes, the lot of ’em.
And I share your view of the PNG bagpipe band.
I saw a Canadian pipe major interviewed a while ago, and he had a broad French accent.
What happens in Massa2setts stays in Massa2settes. yes Massa.
