I think the first time I heard her was on the radio in 1967, when I was a young troop in the U.S. Army, and I fell madly in love with her singing, especially “Georgy Girl.”
I understand “The Seekers” were an international hit in America, Europe and Australia.
She got better with age–her later versions of the song MvL linked to were even better.
