Our first social event in over a year last night, and Wabbit managed to get hammered on Glenlivet and Grappa. (no dinner beforehand ) No hangover at 6am though…

    Hah – I think I’ve heard of grappa. Sort of a brandy – supposed to be pretty strong stuff! Haven’t tried it myself yet but would like to…… :)

    There are some very good fruit schnapps makers here in NZ.
    I particularly like Prenzels – very nice. They have a great range including a great apricot schnapps and a peach schnapps.
    Mmmmmm……. ;)

    KG- don’t know if you saw Q and A Monday night but it is downloadable and you can watch it when you have the time.

    Its one of the best shows ever because Peter Hitchens was on and he demolishes utterly and completely the rest of the panel who are all the most infuriatingly smug prog arseholes.

    Please watch it if you can.

      Thanks RB, I’ll go look for it. Mostly I avoid that mob like the plague, but Hitchens will be a treat. :grin:

    It won’t be downloadable till tomorrow maybe but when you see it note how determined the rest of the panel (Tony Jones included) are to stop his ideas from being heard.

    Much as I admire Hitchens, this is making me feel like I need a shower in disinfectant.

      There’s so much wrong with the views expressed on that show it’s hard to know where to start – except, as KG said, with a shower in disinfectant.

      I would also venture to suggest there was a lot of good as well. Most of it from Hitchens, but one bright spot was the tweet that came across the screen in response to that Obama comment:

      “Australia has had its Obama moment. It was Gillard. Look at how that turned out?”

      Interesting the other woman on the panel wanted the rest of the West to emulate Norway and Sweden. That would be the Sweden in which 1 in 4 women can look forward to being raped by a moslem in their lifetime.

      The thing most amazing is not that the panel did not see that there has been a moral decline in the West, or anything wrong with the current state. It’s that they are so blind by their own narcissism, hedonism and arrogance they can’t see the direct link between what they’ve done over the past 5 decades, and (for example) the gang-rape that’s been reported in the NZ news over the past few days.

    They can’t win a contest of ideas, unless it’s brainwashing the herd so their answer – as always – is to try and shut down the opposition.
    Total societal breakdown would bring one very great benefit and pleasure…open season on these prog assholes.
