    What he and Holder are doing amounts clearly to criminality, yet Congress will not call them on it and the SCOTUS will not enforce the law.
    “A republic, if you can keep it”…well, Americans couldn’t and now I doubt they will ever regain it.
    And that’s a grievous loss for all of us.

    Nothing lasts forever. What breaks can be rebuilt, perhaps even better than it was before. This is just the blink of an eye in human history. We will fall and get up a thousand times more before we ever achieve something approaching inner and outer peace.
    There’s every reason to believe that this cycle will be endless. The winter of hardship brings us to the brink. Spring comes and with the lesson of winter learned we toil to build our future. Summer comes and lazily we forget the lessons of winter, squandering our hard work. Autumn arrives and the few who remember the previous winter try to warn the rest of the impending peril. Few listen. Winter arrives and once again the cycle renews.
    All this plays out over generations rather than months. Currently we are well into Autumn by my calculations. I hope you all have your stores for the winter ahead. It going to be the longest and coldest yet.

    I agree that Obama very likely won’t be impeached for a number of reasons other than his race to include the fact that of the two presidents impeached by the House in American history – Johnson in the 19th century and Clinton in the 20th – neither one was removed from office by the Senate.

    However, Obama may resign if Obamacare continues as designed and most Americans lose their health insurance and the medical system begins to collapse…What I see happening is a Nixonian deal whereby the Senate and House leader agree not to file criminal charges against Obama if he resigns and gets the hell out of Dodge.

    Of course, this can only happen if the Tea Party Republicans become the majority in the House and Senate and remove the current RINO leadership.

    On the other hand, Obama and his Regime may double down and burn down Capitol Hill should the Patriot GOP sweep into majority status in House and Senate.

    Martial Law, anyone…?

    In this case, a highly unpopular president would be facing a civil war.

    I agree 100% Wombat – the next ten years are going to be hell on earth, as the Anglosphere faces nation destroying perils of Super Depression, WW III, and civil wars.

    Ronbo – Obama will never resign. He has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder which makes him believe that he is superior and special even without superior accomplishments; fantasise about great success and enormous attractiveness, power and intelligence; have an arrogant attitude and behaviour; and have expectations of special treatment. This is all covered in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders IV.

    He just does not have the insight, or the introspection needed to recognise what and who he is. With his looks (and colour) and his oratorial skills he is the perfect puppet to be manipulated by those behind his ascent to the throne.

    I read somewhere that when professionals were hired to run his campaigns he remarked that of course he could have done the job better than any one of them. This from a man who has been bone idle his whole life and has always relied on others to do things for him. He certainly is not slow to come forward and accept the accolades. Even as President he does nothing other than watch sports TV, play golf, party and occasionally gets rolled out in a smart suit to read a teleprompter, while Jarrett and the Czars do the work.

    I agree: You get to a comfortable situation in life and some asshole like Obama comes along and fucks up the world :!: :evil:

    The problem is human Free Will to do good or evil…

    I just floated the idea that he MAY resign.

    Anything is possible, after all.

    I think Obama is a classic psychopath, and I believe another reason why Obama wouldn’t accept a deal to quietly resign and head to the deep woods is that – like a typical psychopathic felon – he doesn’t trust anyone, especially the GOP, not to come after him for his crimes when steps out of the Oval Office for good.

    So my best guess is that Obama will have to be FORCED to leave the presidency, or he will become the President-For-Life in 2017.

    Ronbo, read the “Devastating, and so true” post and you’ll see that the left doesn’t need a President-for-life. They’ve already created the instrument of permanent oppression and whoever is the figurehead will make absolutely no difference.
    That’s pretty much true all across the West.
