‘John Eisenhower, historian and Ike’s son, dies’

I really enjoyed his book “The Bitter Woods: The Battle of the Bulge”. Best account I ever read.

  2. Thanks for the heads up on the book and the fact that John Eisenhower has passed–
As to the tyrannous NY police–well- the rules keep coming and coming–
What happened to the original intent – Life- Liberty-PROPERTY!!
    No need to answer-rhetorical question!

Something’s a bit weird about that video, it was like they knew the cop was coming. And i have to say no point washing that piece of crap, i’d be very surprised if that car even drives anymore. Sorry, maybe i’m being too harsh. :)

Still, it’s quite narcky of the cops to stop people from washing their cars, what sort of stupid law is that anyway, would they rather people drove around with bird poop on their cars.

I think the cop was wrong in claiming that they were washing it in a “public place”.
In any case, don’t they have some real work to do?? It smells of bullying and an abuse of power.

If I had been that Cop,washing the car would not have been any issue.

Actually paying money for and hauling home a 1997 Volkswagon Cabrio however is a crime,or at least it should be.
