chair-polisher tyranny:

1530434_684070008291362_2028440787_n United States Senator Mike Lee:
‘Behold my display of the 2013 Federal Register. It contains over 80,000 pages of new rules, regulations, and notices all written and passed by unelected bureaucrats. The small stack of papers on top of the display are the laws passed by elected members of Congress and signed into law by the president.’
If anybody thinks voting is going to fix this I have some shares in a unicorn farm, available at a bargain price..

For the record, I have wasted tons of pixels over the years noting that this is the single greatest systemic threat to our form of government. We are today, much closer to a socialist bureaucracy (i.e., the EU) then the republic written into our Constitution. When Obama can’t get passed through Congress his war on coal (EPA) or his war on religion (contraceptive mandate) or the vast expansion of EPA authority, yet can accomplish the same things without a single vote of our elected representatives, than we have a potentially fatal rot in the heart of our governing system.

I’ve been beating this drum forever too, GW, although not as well as you do it.
It’s a disease all across the West and it’ll destroy us as surely as the debt problem (which it’s largely responsible for anyway) or a nuke.

  2. Andrew Berwick says:

Leftist unelected bureaucrats, all unionist and most members of labour or green parties.

There is only one solution to this problem.

A picture is indeed worth a thousand words.

If ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law then I guess I may as well abandon any pretence of being a law abiding citizen…

  5. Robertv says:

It is already impossible to be a law abiding citizen. But that is their goal. This way they think they have power over us because we are all guilty of some sort of crime.
When torture was a legal way of investigation all at the end confessed guilty. When torture was declared illegal they had to find another way to achieve the same thing. This was their brilliant solution. Of course, one day this will backfire and blood will float in enormous quantities. The bad part will be that we only will hang the small guys . History has taught us that the real power behind all of this will survive to try it again an other day.

      Solution: Man approaches crowd.

“I think it would be in everyone’s best interests if we all…” BANG! Thump.

–“Who wants to bury that collectivist piece of shit on the floor?”

  6. Wombat says:

“The thing that he was about to do was to open a diary. This was not illegal (nothing was illegal, since there were no longer any laws), but if detected it was reasonably certain that it would be punished by death, or at least a forced-labor camp.” -1984, Orwell

A multitude of indecipherable laws is the same as having none at all. All that remains is the acceptance that the scumbags doing the arresting and imprisoning will never hold themselves accountable to the same standard as they hold the rest of us. The good news is that we still have more guys and guns than they do.

      VIVA MEXICO :!:  http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

The good people in a western Mexican state got fed up with the ultra violent drug cartels and a Leftist government that refused to do anything effective to stop them…So…VIVA REVOLUTION :!:

BTW, for those of you who live in gun control countries – Mexico has had strict gun control since about 1930…Please note how well the rebels are armed.

What is Mexico City doing about the situation :?: They are busy shipping troops into the region to confront the normally quiet middle class Mexicans who are happily shooting up the druggies.

  7. Darin says:

Like I’ve told people for years,it’s not the president or crongress that does the most damage. It’s the army of 20 year bureaucrats they leave in thier wake that does it.

  8. Mathew says:

Yesterday i read on FOX news that the US taxpayer has been paying double the going price for penis pumps, the kerfuffle was over the extra. Any sane person would ask why exactly are the tax payers funding penis pumps in the first place but we all know that won’t really happen. Perhaps that is why they’re paying double.

So how much have Americans wracked up in debt now, 17 trillion and they still have money for penis pumps, i also saw something about welfare money going to weed sales. Mmmmm….. now there’s a nation in dire need of harsh lessons.
